NTL Transfer of ILR to new passport

I intend to transfer ILR to new passport. Original ILR is on a ISD. Does anyone here have experience in waiting times for postal applications? The same day premium service is almost 3 times the cost of postal. Any timelines? I understand that I'll now get a BRP card.

Re: Deception? Lied to immigration officer...

Deception when detected may lead to a 10 year ban. Before you apply it would be advisable to use an experienced immigration solicitor for advice. Your parents could put you in touch with one based here. The crucial facts of whether you actually denied having family here or the purpose of your visit ...

Re: SAR Report

I requested mine last year and after 60 days with no files recieved, I sent an email to my MP who asked the home office to speed it up. They sent it after 2 weeks of MP letter. When files arrived it showed they only processed it after he made contact. Contact your MP soon as they're about to leave o...

I finally got mine and my children's files 3 months late. I got my MP to send a letter to the homeoffice 2 weeks ago and they arrived with an apology about the delay. Thanks everyone who shared their experience about SAR delays.

Re: Certified copy of passport from home office

Hi all, I've been searching for this but couldn't find a similar post... My ILR is still under appeal (won in first tier, but the HO appealed). I've now decided to marry my partner and would need a certified copy of my passport from the HO. No-one seems to be able to say where and how I can obtain ...

Re: Down's Syndrome Guy face removal from UK

This is really crazy. Targeting a parent with a disabled child simply because they are a soft touch and can easily make up the numbers for immigration figures of deported cases. I urge all those with cases that have human rights and section 55 issues involving children to try and get a face to face ...

SAR request delays

I applied to get my files from the home office early June 2014, they acknowledged and said they'd post them by 20 July but up to now nothing. Has anybody had such experience of delays in SAR request? My solicitor says homeoffice are super slow in everything. Isn't that even illegal to delay more tha...

Re: UKBA(UKVI) SUBMITTUNG FALSE INFORMATION

This is a reply on assumption that you want compensation and your records changed and you haven't sorted out your issues with HO. Here is my opinion.I think you should make a formal complaint to the HO using email (how to make complaint)on their website specifically saying an apology is not enough s...
