Re: Visitor visa - gross oversight by case worker. My option

I was thinking exactly same - involving MP. But I feel gutted what poor service they provide with people's money and inconvenience caused by such poor decisions ends in a lot of disappointment. All good sdvice thanks ever so much.

Re: Visitor visa - gross oversight by case worker. My option

Thanks for your reply. No we didn't include his UK biometric or mentioned he ever lived in the UK. I suppose they had done search on him when they concluded he is the main sponsor and they wanted to establish his immigration status in UK. No, my dad is retired and we showed some social ties - just t...

Re: naturalisation - no acknowledgement received.

Hi, guys, this is really useful. Thanks and sorry, didn't realise when the auto notification feature has been turned off as I received no email about your responses. Hence the delay.

I've already emailed them and waiting for a reply soon.

naturalisation - no acknowledgement received.

Hi, It's been over a month I made Naturalisation application and yet haven't received any form of acknowledgement. When I checked the timelines of other people it seems I was supposed to receive an email shortly after they received my application. Also, the money has gone out over 2 weeks ago but no...

Re: My parents refused family visitor visa-immigration histo

If you’re applying for a long-term visit visa You must prove that: you have a frequent and ongoing need to come to the UK the reason why you need to come to the UK is unlikely to change while your visitor visa is valid you plan to leave the UK at the end of each visit You may be given a visa for a s...

Re: SET (LR) deferred

Second interview took place with more questions. Examples: 1. How did you start sole trading 2. Who is your accountant, how often do you meet him. 3. Do you have visibility what your accountant does with your accounts or he takes care of it all. 4. Why didn't you take dividend the following year (qu...

Re: SET (LR) deferred

Received a letter today - they asked me to attend an interview next week. I already had one the day I applied at PEO. Any idea why they might want to see me again?

Re: SET (LR) deferred

@Fair720, No update yet.

I think it was part of a random check. Also, I had completed 5 years before 10 years but yet I applied for 10 years. Could that be the reason? I simply applied on 10 years as that's a lot less work to do (fewer documentations etc) - nothing else.

Re: SET (LR) deferred

@aliq09, First off all, thanks for your post. About your first question, I don't see why would anyone disclose their own business/income details to forum members. Secondly, I mentioned in my post I didn't take SA302 form with me. And my argument is if CW is playing the judging role here they should ...

Re: SET (LR) On hold - tax issue

@khalidkhan, yes that's correct just the required documents no additional doc.

But I carried all sole trading doc with me just in case. Just received my SA302 form and it confirms all the figures.

How can you be so sure I will get ILR this week?

Re: SET (LR) On hold - tax issue

Just usual documents that you need to submit with long residency ILR. but later during the interview I gave them 1. all the invoices 2. bank statements covering sole trading period 3. Email proof that I paid the tax with hmrc reference number. That's it.

No no update yet.
