They??? U mean there is more than one person??
They is commonly misused to refer to a singular person olisun (unless they don't want to say the sex of the person, then it's ok)

To be absent you need to be out of the country for a whole day. So in your example, you were only out of the country for one day i.e. Saturday.

Hope this clarifies things :)

As I don't really think the Germans are going to give you Aufenthalts Erlaubnis, based on what you have told us so far.

Also you should make up your mind as to where you want to live, UK, Germany or Australia.

Good luck
And who with too

hun12, how long do you have left on your current visa? It's just to make sure you can switch in-country.

Rogerroger, I'm not arguing those facts I agree with you. My wife is a Mauritian with a UK PhD and BSc (Hons)- her English skills and talent is greater than most Brits, yet alone those from the EU - I know the strengths of commonwealth citizens and have been through years of annoying visa applicatio...

From here If you don't have settled status in the UK, you will need to apply for a certificate of approval from the Home Office. To qualify for a certificate of approval, you must normally have been granted leave to enter or leave to remain for more than six months and three months of that leave mus...

It's already been said, but I wouldn't worry about the Council Tax. The house was recorded as tax exempt due to it being occupied by students. It's not like the house was occupied and Council Tax payments were being avoided.

It's not a problem. My wife travels with both passports attached together using an elasticband (her old one contains FLR). She has travelled to the Netherlands, Canada and the USA and they haven't been bothered at all. They just end up flicking more pages  Edit: I forgot to say - her name is no...

Is it ok to travel outside the UK during the probationary period? Yes. But we note that applicants who accrue more than 90 days outside of the UK during their probationary period are less likely to succeed without a plausible reason. Plausible reasons would include illness of a family member abroad...

If you have return tickets, a reason to go home (i.e. a job) that should be enough, you'll probably still get the questions, but they won't have any reasons to refuse you.

If you look here, you can see the current applications being processed in the table in the middle of the page. It says they are currently processing this month's which is a good sign.

Also, they have a link to their historical performance (link)

You are in part right ie "setting up financial barriers" to curb lower skilled workers. Either way Eastern Europeans are now been favoured over Common Wealth Citizens as they do not have the same financial restriction placed on them in terms visa costs. IT IS A DISGRACE ANYWAY YOU LOOK AT...

PEO Solihull - How far ahead do they accept bookings?

Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering if any recent visitors to the PEO in Solihull know how far ahead the earliest bookings tend to be and how far ahead they accept bookings? For example, do they have a window of 2 weeks starting a few weeks into the future, or something similar?

Thanks,
Justin

I'm British, but I know one guy from India who worked in NY and now works in London. He couldn't stand NY, the working culture there - actually he couldn't stand the place at all.

He's now living in London and is a lot happier. His wife has recently joined him which has made him even happier. :)

No one can say "Yes or No" for you, but the salary is a good starting salary: you can get paid more, but you can get paid less. Use the following site: http://www.listentotaxman.com to work out your take home pay (It works out to £27,056.54 a year or £2,254.71 a month). It's hard to say wh...

For me, this would only work if all UK citizens when they come of age (say 18 ) have to do some form of community service and celebrate being British.
