Alhumdulillah my husband was granted his visa on thursday and will be coming to uk on saturday.

For anyone that has travelled to uk from pak recently advise of any questions they had been asked at immigration? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ALHUMDULILLAH by the grace of Allah tala my husband received his visa today. Soooooo excited

Words cannot express how I feel, but its been a very difficult long journey.

We applied online 3rd feb and biometrics was on 19th feb at lahore.

My husband received an email today stating application has been processed and will be returned to the VAC.

How long till the documents can be collected?

Are the VAC closed fri mon?

Do you think its worth contacting the VAC to see if the paperwrk has arrived back yet. I have heard of some people waiting for collection call and not getting it they ended up going to the VAC and the paperwork was sitting there the whole time.

I sent a mail on saturdy asking status of my husbands application and gt a reply sunday 4pm stating application has been processed and decision had been made. My husband applied online 3rd of feb and biometrics was on 19th feb at lahore VAC. So it could take 2weeks? Anyone else in a similar position?

Salaam all I emailed the uk visa enquiry for an update on my husbands visa application. I received a reply saying the application has been processed and a decision has been made. Does anyone know how long it take to get a call for the collection of passport. Remember us in your duas all. Shahfaisal

Yes include your p60. And if the wageslips are copies then get them stamped and signed by your employers . Attach a covering letter stating you had already sent the original payslips with your application. Meanwhile it may be worth emailing them and asking which documents they require as you had al...

Salaam All My husband received a letter saying we do not meet the income threshold and application is on hold. They are requesting further documents from the original time of the appication. Can anyone on the forum advise me on wether tax paid for pay as you earn employees can affect your visa application if it is only paid up till point of submitting the application ie is a month or two behind?

The email for BHC is visaenquiries.islamabad@fco.gov.uk. My husband submitted documents just yesterday (23rd), we were told to submit them as soon as possible. Yet the speed at which the BHC process our application it will be a while before we hear anything.
