Re: Visa4UK - Apply for Someone else

Thank you for the response. The reason Im confused is. It often happens that the person filling out the form for someone else, is also a resident of the same country. Just thinking if its a problem if the main account has an address within UK, for an application which is being made outside UK. Try ...

Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

Hi all,

I was just wondering whether we get any acknowledgment (letter, email etc) from BHC after applying for spouse visa in pakistan? Just like home office sends letter within UK? Has anyone ever received the letter to inform the applicant that application is received or under process?

Thanks.

Re: Spouse visa to ILR 5 years residence requirement

The 5 year period will start when the person enters the UK. They do give you an extra 90 days added to the leave to enter and you can also apply for SET(M) from 28 days before 5 years completes. Thus, you could stay outside the UK 90 days + 27 days and still only need one extension before applying ...

Re: Spouse Visa details

Khan sb,

If you ar eon Tier 1 G why you want information on spouse of settled person? Are you trying to apply or just seeking information?

Tier 1 G holders are not considered settled persons, you need ILR for that. If you are applying for your spouse than you will require PBS dependent application.
