There isn't much of a difference...all questions must be answered as if applicant is completing the application.. Applicant will have to print and submit the application at VAC ofcourse... if you are applying on behalf of someone else your name will appear on the completed application as 'applicatio...

As per guideline applicant must score 4 or above in all categories... its not just over all score.. Your wife will have to give IELTS again.

isint the requirement like 18600 something... i have even attached a P60 that showes my earning for that year... I earnred twice that and on a permanent job.... what else do they need... 13months of payslip 13 months of bank statements... and p60 ...all given Sorry to hear... sometimes small mistak...

Dear Sophia20, I'm not a lawyer ..a lawyer will not know all this anyway... and I don't work for BHC/Gerrys ... It was humour and an assumption :) I will share my timelines at the right time...but all I know from experience only weak cases takes 6 months or more...they cannot reject so they delay......

Dear Zeeh, Earning over £25K doesn't mean High Commissioner himself will stamp your visa and deliver it you :D I never said you will get visa asap guaranteed if you earn 25K... It makes your case little bit stronger... and you have just applied in Jan have some patience :) And its not just earnings....

I absolutely agree with Tallojani.Please give in genuine documents no matter what..Bad documents are the only reason that Pakistani applicants suffer and have to go through thorough scrutiny, hence the delays. There is no need to "show" anything that is not true as it will only get you in...

The answer is 'Permanently' ...even if the visa is issued for 2.5 years... because you are applying for settlement/spouse not as a dependent in other categories.

Ofcourse IELTS is approved by UKBA. You can check their list. You can easily give IELTS through AEO or British council in Pakistan. Their test centers are in major cities. I suspect, the whole process takes roughly 3 weeks. Tests are twice a month. Check online on AEO pakistan or british council web...

Yes. You have to sign sponsorship declaration, and provide at leats one evidence of accomodation as mentioned in the list at the bottom. Settlement and wife should be selected. Select other and then mention you are sponsoring your wife in the additonal info section at the end... usually its understo...

You just type in the name and on the printed copy you sign with a pen. Now, I am not sure if you are applying for someone else, whose name should go there. home office doesn't follow any rules... some people received BRP in 2 days some not... does anyone else received BRP late i.e. disptached late???

I think those who are based away from major cities receives BRP late...
