Re: Retained right of residence- Doc list

Hi CR001, Thanks for your reply. I married in Poland and the process to obtain a new copy requires me appointing an agent in Poland, who would then go in person to govt.office to request a copy, possibly wait few days and then send by post here in UK. I would therefore like to know what the actual r...

Re: Online visa application - technical questions

Hi there Brad, As to my knowledge "Centre of Life" is applicable if either partner is a British Citizen, mine is not, therefore that is not applicable to me. I know where you are coming from and I understand that due to amended Surinder Singh ruling, which I'm not highly familiar of has ma...

Re: Online visa application - technical questions

There is another question, it will be great if Amber or anyone else can help out. Q.Will your spouse/partner be travelling with you? As for EEA-FP the purpose is to join my wife in UK. But she wants to travel with me if I'm granted visa. So she will first come to me in Spain and then we will travel ...

Re: Online visa application - technical questions

What in your opinion can I put as reason? like section no of immigration which I didn't satisfy or something else? bcos...

Re: PASSPORT CERTIFICATION ISSUE

Which application are you making? EEA Family Permit from abroad or a 5 years Residence card using form EEa2 within the UK? For the former, a photocopy of the passport is enough. If you provide an original ID that's enough. For the latter, photocopies are not accepted. Only originals (such as ID or ...

Re: PASSPORT CERTIFICATION ISSUE

You may find that a normal photocopy will do just fine. I actually agree with you, because I had already fulfilled their requirement by providing original ID card which contains full name and DOB. Rest if they have doubt they can verify themselves as all info in the world is based on these two elem...

Re: PASSPORT CERTIFICATION ISSUE

Then also supply a notarized copy of the passport. Which will show a corresponding DOB and name. Although, remember the caseworker only has to be satisfied on the balance of probabilities not beyond reasonable doubt. Thanks for quick reply Amber :) sorry for my less understanding of legal language....

Re: EEA-FP (Need your attention please)

1 NO 2 Anything you deemed appropriate, there is no set rule for proving relationship except for couples with kids, as it will be obvious it's not sham , address it to entry clearance officer, it doesn't actually matter who it's addressed to. 3 If there is any reason you think your application migh...
