Re: Parents got ILR but baby Tier 2 Visa till 20 Jan 2015

1. Yes . 2. Yes. We are Indian nationals currently and baby also has Indian passport, so therefore would a CoE on an Indian passport become illegal in Indian law? (since a foreign citizen should not be holding an Indian passport in the first place). Yes. As far as I know you have to surrender your ...

Re: Problems with my language test

I dont know if you can get it corrected or not but why over complicate things when you can take the english test again with next to no effort - for example the Trinity test which takes less than 10 minutes. It does cost around £150 but compared to the thousands we all spend over the years on visa ap...

Hi, I recently obtained ILR for me and family members including 1 year UK born child. Applied ILR for my child because I have immediate travel commitments. Re: Unclarified language requirements

Your certificate is fine. Even though it does not say B1 it is equivalnet to B1 (GSCE 5 or something). My wife and several other people I know of have applied for Citizenship using the same test and have been approved without any issues.

I haven't gone through this personally but I would never ever recommend you to travel without getting proper travel documents for your son. You will have no problems getting there but coming back is a different story. Alternatively you can apply for british passport from Pakistan but it will not be ...

I don't think that is true. The guide asks you to send all uncancelled passports which in most cases mean that you just have to send the current passport.

UK born with ILR parents, alternative to British Passport?

Asking this on behalf of a friend. Both parents have ILR, baby is not born yet. Mother is malaysian national, Malaysia does not allow dual citizenship. Father has a United Nations passport. The baby will be born in the UK. 1. Since parents have ILR I believe the baby will be british by birth and can...

I have been down this route and ended up wasting a lot of money. In the end I had to take the English language exam which I should have done in the first place. Also be advised that the "medium of instruction" letter is not what they are asking for in the application form and simply will n...

In this situation I would recommend you apply for a passport and be done with it. It is not expensive compared to BC application and take only about a month to get it - in the mean time use another ID with naturalization certificate.

I would not advise to give additional info if it is not needed because that might delay your application for no reason. As for the checks home office can check whatever they like but based on the i...
