I got approved on 15th and got Docs on 16th.....I think we will get some good news tomorrow and day after....as HO will get over Holiday hangover........ Hi, It is crystal clear in Sabida12's case that he/she got FLR(m) before 6th April and old rules apply. In your case you are applying after April 6 and you cant extend your leave under Part 8 as I shared in pervious post. So 287 (a)(i )(d) is only implemented when Flr (m) is granted under pervious ...

Hi you cant determine changes just comparing two form as forms cover a very broad population. Hi Suryavaddi, If you havnt applied for FLR (M) before 6th April you cannot take transitional route. The changes made on 6th April means you will apply for FLR(m) and after spending 5 years on Flr (m) you can apply for SET (m). called them and gave my name and post code and they found it for me. When u call machine will ask u for tracking number, but dont put tracking number after third time asking it will ask u to press star. Well I sent my application exactly on 10 years and now i m wondering if I would have sent my application in december I would have got my visa before April 6 and subsequently SET (m) for Mrs by now.. any way I was bit lazy at Xmass period and now I m paying the price. Hi CKP, If you and ur wife both are eligible for SET (LR) by end of this year then go for Long residency as there are very little requirements for this visa as compare to others.
