The guidance notes make no mention of using NCS and only provides a postal address to use. HO are also known for giving out incorrect advice. Your choice, worth a try. What was the reason(s) for refusing your fee waiver? I am we are planing of renewing next year. family of five, total cost of application, nhs fees will cost almost £7K and I can not see how we can afford this. So we are plaining to apply for the fee waiver. please advice.

Very difficult because your child doesn't have residence yet. My advice for you is to seek for legal advice ASAP.

1. What about the fact my child is 8 ? You case weak because you are seperated and also the fact that your ex is overstayer. Hence applying as a family unit would have been your best option. Without the child in your application it will very difficult to succeed, and also for the fact that your ex is still legalised it makes it more difficult. Try and reconcile with your wife and both of you and the child should make a fresh application using flr(fp).
