Re: Canada Visit visa processing times

Just heard back:
Visa is approved and asked me to send passport
It took a while to submit a courier pick-up request via VFS website as their webpage was rejecting the payment.

Canada Visit visa processing times

Hi all, I submitted a visit visa application to go to Canada for business purposes. I submitted by Biometric on Feb 3 and am waiting for further information. I can see from their webpage that the current processing time is 242 days! I know it depends on individual circumstances and all but I wanted ...

Re: Schengen flight tickets

Is it necessary to book flights for Schengen visa applications? Are there any refundable flight ticket websites? I recently applied at Sweedish Embessey (3 weeks ago). When I asked about the flights, this is what I received from their migration agency (my visa was granted as well). "It is ok n...

Re: US B1/B2 Visa timeline

In the status check, it is written. Not sure whether this is standard text or not. "The consular officer has approved your application subiect to final processing by the consular section that is necessary to issue your visa. When that processing is complete, the status will change to "Issu...

US B1/B2 Visa timeline

Hi, Just wondering whether anyone has any experience in B1/B2 visa applications recently. I had my interview last week and it is approved. I am curious how long they usually take to process and issue the visa and send the passport back (tracking still shows approved with the interview date)? Online ...

Re: Evidence of Marriage and Birth Certificate for PBS dependent apply for ILR using SET(O)

@ george1981 and anyone thanks for your reply. I am the main applicant following theTier 1 dependent route. The ILR's passport and Biometric card are not specifically required in the SET(O) form. My husband needs to travel in the next few month, so I am hoping not to give the original passport and ...

Re: Brp card

It says you need to wait 10 days before you can contact BRP team (online enquiry form only allows you to submit the form past 10 days). I would recommend to send an email to BRP delivery team, although they say that this email is no longer monitored. Recently my wife and son applied for ILR via prem...

Re: Evidence of Marriage and Birth Certificate for PBS dependent apply for ILR using SET(O)

Received ILR for my wife and son (Tier 2 dependent) last week @ Birmingham PSC.
In addition to other documents, please take the Passport and BRP of current ILR holder. For our case, the caseworker asked for that when we handed in our documents.

Further to my previous comment, we haven't received any reply to the email that sent by my employer to the email id " 'Tier2&5MigranetRe@homeoffice....." as suggested by the employer's helpline. So I have decided to post a request to Home office. I did my premium application at Glasgow...

Re: Tier 2 General: Wrong job title in decision letter

Thank you very much, Manci. This was presumably a change of employment application rather than an extension application as your SOC code probably changed (from 2119 to 2311?) I do not know which code my sponsor used. I will ask them and request a print out of COS. My decision letter has the address ...

Hello, Today I have successfully granted an extension to my Tier 2 visa (premium application) due to job change and sponsor change. 1) However after reaching home, I found that the job title in the decision letter is wrong (it is showing current title not the new job title). I have been working as a...
