Re: British Citizenship for overseas birth

Many thanks for your response, I check below link and it seems to have a similar issue where a different course of action is recommended. Am I interpreting this wrongly? If so, I will apply directly to British passport. https://www.immigrationboards.com/british-citizenship/mn1-form-from-india-t32784...

Basically I am a British Citizen by naturalisation and I moved to overseas in 2010 and my child is born 2 years ago again in an overseas country. My wife is not British Citizen. When I check if my child is eligible for c...

My case is that I have ILR (Points Based Migrant, Tier 1 (G)), my wife has dependent visa (prior July 2012). She has shortfall around 2 months and needs to extend her visa. (Either using Tier 1...

Re: English Language Requirement, Please help

Hi My wife did not take any tests as shown on the link. She went to an English school for 10 months (in 2011) and upon completion of the studies they gave her a certificate showing her level. Obviously she took tests within the school. This school is accredited by British council. (Accreditation UK ...

Re: Settlement Form (O)

If your abscences are less than 180 days in each qualifying year then you are fine. Don't bother too much about it. I don't agree above. Even though it might be correct, the immigration rules clearly states that you need to provide letters: 1) From your employer 2) From yourself 3) Also evidence fo...

Dependant 2 year rule

Hi, My wife got her Tier 1 General Dependant visa in June 2012 so she needs to wait 2 years (June 14) before ILR application. Also her visa expires end of April 14. Before June 12, for 1-2 years, she was in the UK in a different immigration category and we were in a relationship which I can prove. M...
