Re: Conversion of director's loan to share capital investmen

Hi Yes. I have done this. 3 years ago when starting the company I allotted myself 25000 shares at £1. As I invested 50k end of 3 years some £25k was the actual spend on business which was netted off against the Share Capital and the remaining £25k+ is owed to me by the company as it is in the form o...

Re: Business Expenses Paid from Personal Account- Evidence

Thanks all for the heads up. A good warning alert indeed. It's not a big amount around £2k will 'top up' business account as suggested. Many thanks for all the help. :)

Re: Business Expenses Paid from Personal Account- Evidence

The direct debits to Personal cards were from 3 years ago when my business bank cards were not issued. These are recorded as expenses in Annual accounts. Its not that big a sum but its still business expenditure. It's a shame if its not going to be counted. Topping up money in Business account is no...

Business Expenses Paid from Personal Account- Evidence

Hello, I've been reading numerous posts on Director's Loan and the advice on here. As a Director, I've invested in 2 ways 1. Expenses paid directly from Personal cards (direct debits, online payments etc for business) 2. Money transferred from Personal Account to Business Account Both these sources ...

Tier 1 Entrepreneur Extension - Query on Job

This is a query on job. Is it required that the same employee be retained for 12 months? Does the criteria for job creation entail the role is filled for 12 months or the same employee is retained for 12 months? Because in creative media business, we have to hire the best talent and sometimes have t...

Re: Mailed application and realised an oversight!

Re: Mailed application and realised an oversight!

Actually I re-read guidance notes. It doesn't really say that the Applicant has to sign either in the main notes or Annexe Letter templates. Only the applicants name, relationship etc should be mentioned. The signature of applicant is needed only if forming a team. I am not. I am an IT contractor un...

Mailed application and realised an oversight!

Hi all, I mailed my initial Tier 1 Entrepreneur application today and I realised within an hour of posting that I've forgotten to sign the third party declaration letter of 50k signed by my parents and also on the letter from legal adviser. Fortunately, my Dad had sent me 2 sets of originals signed ...
