Re: Dealing with Delay in processing time

I'm not an expert on extensions, but it appears you've gone through all the appropriate steps. I'd keep calling and emailing everyday until they come back to you. It sped things up for me when I was waiting on a decision (ultimately got rejected) in August. I'm sure they're just reviewing it still ...

NARIC validity

Hello All,

Could you please tell me if there is any validity for NARIC certificate.

I have a NARIC state of comparability document from Aug 2011. Will that still be valid to include in the list of documents for my ILR? Or do I need to apply for a new one?

Regards,
Bonrajee

Re: Eligible for ILR?

Thursday, 25 August 2016 . Thanks Vinny. That explains I don't need to go for extension. Another Question: If for some reason the visa is refused and I had to extend my Tier2 visa, do I get a grace time to do this as my visa is expiring on 25th Aug 2016. And will this time cause a break in my conti...

Did you mean 22-09-2016? If thats the case, as you mentioned 28 days before this date, could you tell me what's the earliest date I can apply?

No more than 180 whole days absence are allowed in any of the five, four, three or two consecutive 12 month periods, depending on the category, preceding the date of the application for indefinite leave to remain (ILR). http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/policyandlaw/modernised/...

Re: Entering UK After Getting Tier 2 General Visa

Do you have a visitor visa for UK already? If yes, they they can allow you. If not, you cannot.

They cannot allow you into the country before the valid date.

Instead you can postpone your travel. Push the tickets and it may charge you a cancellation fee. But its worth piece of mind.

Re: 7 months to ILR, tier 2 sponsor company goes bust!

Find a sponsor, there are quite many people who are ready to sponsor but this may include some cost as you have just 7 months for ILR and the sponsor for sure knows you'll not be bound to him once you get ILR. But its worth the money, instead of starting all over again. If I'm you, ill not look at t...
