Re: What do I tick on question 6.7 MN1 form regarding Brp card

I tick NO as the BRP will be returned only after receiving passport.I did this at NCS so the NCS officer suggested to tick NO and they have written the reason as NCS. It was filled by them so i am asssuming it should be ok if you are submitting in NCS.

Re: ILR (1Parent) Any Benefit Claims

if you are the main applicant and already got your ILR. I guess you can claim child benefit.call HMRC and ask them if you are eligible to claim child benefit and if so they might ask you send your/child passport with birth certificate and your Biometric showing ILR.

Re: Being present in the UK at start of qualifying period

is this is the only criteria. I am wondering if we need to be present in the UK on the same date as application date of naturalisation for the past 5 qualifying years? Like if we are applying for naturalisation on 10-May-2017 then we should be physically present in the UK on 10-may on every year for...

Re: Postal Application - PBS Dependent Child -Urgent Help

Finally both my kids application approved and recently Biometric delivered. It seems that for child applicants you need to mark 'NO' against the child benefit question as I have assumed but it is worth to explain that father is claiming for kids in the cover letter to be safe. Lessons learned:)

Re: Postal Application - PBS Dependent Child -Urgent Help

I consulted UKBA visa phone line and they said this section is for the applicant so since the child is not claiming benefits then I should say no and that look logical to me as the benefits I am claiming is in my name but later I realized I am claiming for them and since this is a PBS Dependent form...

Re: What does the EU referendum mean for me??

my understanding is that it would be better not to dwell on such speculations as of now and get confused. Just leave it for an year or so then things would settle down so we might get a clear picture even I was confused after the shock exit of UK from EU.So take it easy:)
