Re: Teenage Kid -Life in the UK

Thanks, CR001 that's a big relief. Yes, both of my kids hold ILR and they got it after 5yrs of continuous stay as they are born outside the UK, so I can register them as British citizens as I already hold a British Passport and my wife has ILR already. She wanted to continue in ILR status so I am wo...

I hold a British Passport and My wife has ILR and now I wanted to apply for citizenship for my kids. Can I apply just for my Kids or it is a requirement that kids' applications can be submitted only with an Adult (Parent) Application? One of my kids is 15yrs old so should they take -' the Life in th...

Re: Online application- dependent

“Do you have any dependants not applying with you at this time ? “

I have noticed this question as well. Not sure what should answer if the spouse is applying for naturalization and the kids are registering as BC?

Re: Child Registration as British

Assuming if your son is on dependant visa then he is born abroad. My understanding is that if you have british passport then your dependents no need to wait for 1 yr after ILR and can apply for naturalization and your child can register as BC. But before that they need to get the ILR. Probably CR001...

Re: AN Form Online - both referee from same family

Thanks alterhase58 and CR001. Yes my kids are not UK Born and so it would be better to register my kids for BC along with my spouse Naturalization application and this will increase the chances of kids application approval? As both my GP and School refused to sign referee form I was seeking help from...

Re: AN Form Online - both referee from same family

This EU solicitor referee passport is expired. Can he still quote his expired passport and be a referee?
Also it seems the fee for registering child as BC would go down due to recent court case outcome? Usually new fee's will be updated every march?

Re: My UkVI Account Still On

yes what CR001 advised is true. I made around 3 applications for my family and all still open even after the application's are approved. So it would be safe to leave it untouched.

Re: AN Form Online - both referee from same family

Thanks CR001. What I noticed is in the AN online form there is no question if an applicant is applying for naturalization based on marriage (married to BC)? It just asks if an applicant has already ILR if so what is the previous visa type that lead to ILR? So how will the case worker know that this ...

AN Form Online - both referee from same family

I am filling online AN form for my spouse and in the referee section my family friend is acting as a
non-professional referee and his sister is a nurse in UK so she will be acting as a professional referee. Will it cause any problem if I have both the referee's from same family?

Re: ILR for PBS Dependant - Childrens only

Once I submit ILR application for my kids it would take at-least 8 weeks. So within this 8 weeks processing time can any one of the parent travel outside of UK? I do no the kids can't travel as their application is under processing but how about one of the parent?
