Re: Applied for Set(LR) instead of Set(M)

Dear Simon Thank you for your feedback. It is very nice to know that they would refund for the original application. My friend replied to the email in hope they would amend the application but obviously this is not the case! My friend needs to submit a SET M application instead. Now, what about the ...

He needs to apply online using form SET M and will have to pay the ILR fees again.
Really???? Wow.
On other hand why do they say “we like to give you the opportunity to review your application…”

Does it not imply, to make adjustments.

Re: SET (M) - Online application ... uncertainties

Sorry ...

The bankstatements: do they have to be scanned every page of transaction.
or is it mainly the front page to show name/address and a summary of the balance?

I have printed a seperate statement to show the money in from my employer only (covering last 2 years).

Re: SET (M) - Online application ... uncertainties

Sorru In my opinion, since the application form covers all scenarios, I suspect that question partly addressing over those who are relying on adequate maintenance instead financial requirement. Re: Applying for SET(M) but made redundant

The main crux is that, despite the official guidance says that the income/circumstances on the time of application matters but caseworker still expects the person to remain employed at least until his/her enquiry... Well, @Zimba is making a statement that it is only required at the point of applica...

Re: Applying for SET(M) but made redundant

I do not care what 'some people' said. The rules state that you must be employed on the date of application. This is also stated in the guide. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/910644/appendix-fm-1-7-financial-requirement-v2.0-ext.pdf I ...

All are correct because nothing adverse will happen if by miracle the caseworker won't liaise with the employer.

Re: Applying for SET(M) but made redundant

As long as you were employed on the date of application, you'll be ok ... well some said so and some otherwise. Not sure if there is a statement in the appendix to say "sponsor must be working during the SET M process"? In case they call the employer to verify, they will find out that I b...
