i just got a one year student visa last week from the british diplomatuc post in my country and i paid only a deposit fee of 500 pounds to city university to comfirm my place.
a friend got 18 months just last week as well.

I have a feeling here that you are misguiding all people here. I can't believe that you had given your correct birth certificate and you were not given 5 points also. Guys, be aware. Have you come across any such case when no points were given to the applicant? yes i have come across 0 points twice...

u mean without even conducting interviews? definitely not without interviews... we all know that recruitment isnt based only on choosing someone with the skill set... other factors come into play depending on the industry and corporate culture but they should give more hsmp visa holders a chance at...

Hi yodiyokun, You have mentioned it takes 3 weeks time for applications within UK ? is it evident for all the applications ? Most people i know that applied in june/ july this month got their decision within 4 weeks (both in and out of country applicants) so i guess the processing is getting faster
