marriage invitation card will not be accepted
The marriage certificate recognised in your country will be recognised...you might need translations depending on your country.

The list of accepted docs to prove a relationship is avaliable in the guidance notes...

why not reapply..if you can afford it.

they will definitely know you have applied b4 and will compare what you submitted with what you are submitting now, so make sure you are consistent.

I believe you were refused because of verification ..cant remember clearly now?

you can try for the spouse points now ... but make sure you submit only items listed on the guidance notes. when i applied i had been married for about 17 months as well. Another thing is that wether you are awarded points for spouse or not dosent matter to your application since you are claiming a ...

Well they may have good intentions but the Entry Clearance Officers will have more reasons to refuse childrens applications.
You now have to look for additional ways of proving relationship to the child apart form a govt issued b.c.

Its stated in the guidance notes(sorry cant dig it out now) that all allowances not stated on the payslip will not be counted towards earnings. segun, have you ever applied thru DHL/UPS to the british embassy be4..........?? If you are called for interview... most of your documents are returned(depends on who is reveiewing at BHC) but i havent seen anyone whose passport was not returned.......... what will you use to enter for the interview...

Im afraid your documents may be "lost" in transit unfortunately.
You should state the country you are from, there will be people on board here who can advice you about how to trace your documents from the postal agency in your country.

i think it should take about a week if your application is not handpicked for verification that delays the application further.

I think your conclusion may not be accurate.
In the refusal letter, they officer reviewing that application normally explains the reason for not giving points in each section.
and I agree with John , the evidence submitted may not be accurate to gain points in experience and earnings.
