Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

I am expecting a decision on my wife's SET(M) application this week.
We applied on 13-Dec-2013 using SCS and submitted biometrics on 3-Jan-2014.
Will update as soon as we receive something.

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

Hi rajani7, Can you also confirm the dates when you received acknowledgement letter and when the payment was taken from your account. And you said you submitted biometrics on 5-Jan-14, which was a Sunday. Are you sure this date is correct? Thanks. I have been a silent reader of this forum and provid...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

Hi Mudi, It seems you will have to wait for another few weeks because the recent decisions we heard of, were on applications submitted in first week of Dec'13. We submitted my wife's application on 13th Dec'13 and I am expecting the decision before end of this month. Good luck! Hi, I am still waitin...

Re: Processing times

Ok. My wife submitted her SET(M) application through SCS on 13-Dec-13, which is also under process at the moment. Last week when I called HO, they said they have started processing Nov'13 applications. So it will be a few weeks before they start with Dec'13 applications. I submitted the SET M. Thanks

Re: Processing times

Which application did you submit? SET - M, O, LR? HI everyone, I applied for ILR the first week of January. The HO took payment right away, and I did my Biometrics about 3 weeks after I sent in my application. Does anyone know how long their processing times are right now? Its been 3 months since I ...

Re: Spouse ILR

I don't know the exact dates of your previous visas, so can't really say much. But, it could be that you completed 5 years in Feb, and therefore were eligible to apply. Or perhaps you were just lucky that HO granted ILR despite you applying too early. I have heard that sometimes, when people send po...

Re: Spouse ILR

It is not really a "Concession". The entry clearance is valid for 27 months and the person needs to enter the UK within 3 months of issue. This is to ensure that the person can complete 2 years in the UK before applying for ILR. Application for ILR can be made only when a person has comple...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

Ok. Sorry I wasn't aware of this.
I still think there should be no travel restriction on your husband.
FinallyPR wrote:Hi tmpmem,
Thank you for the information.
Because, I have applied after 28/10/2013, I do not need to provide the original passport of my husband, photocopies of the entire passport is sufficient.

Congrats to those who have received their ILR recently.

Does anyone know the number of SET(M) and SET(O) application submitted in Nov'13 and Dec'13?
I assume the numbers will be much less than for Oct'13.
