Amended Certificate of Naturalisation

Hi all, I wonder if anyone has experienced this recently. I had to send my certificate of naturalisation back and get an amended one because the order of my name is wrong. This is only because the name order in my birth country and name order in the UK are different. So I've paid £168 (or whichever ...

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

Finally, my brown envelope came. FYI, I called HO last Wednesday (14th Oct) to ask for an update on my application. The woman at HO (irresponsibly) answered "It's still under consideration". I asked what that meant, she said that means I'd have to wait a bit longer and she didn't know for ...

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

At the risk of being rude, there have been way too many pointless posts on this board. It is supposed to be for TIMELINES ONLY . No one cares about the posts about “I applied on the 2nd of April…and still waiting too” or “I looked at the March timeline….” Those are completely useless. Just post the...

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

Can someone please help? I applied on 1st of April and application was received by HO on 2nd April. I paid the old fee and received an acknowledgement letter about 10 days ago. Should I expect a Biometrics letter? Or will this only apply to applicants after the changeover date (6th April I believe)?

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

hi everyone, Just wondering if this is normal. I applied on 1st April 2015 through NCS. The application arrived to HO the next day. However no payment has been taken from my account yet (it's been almost 3 weeks). Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing this? Payments for Feb/Mar applications se...

Re: Recruitment Agencies don't like TIER2 visas

I'm an experienced recruitment agent and I used to be a non-EU worker in the UK on a visa myself so I can give you some objective advice on this. Yes recruitment agents are usually put off by candidates on Tier 2 visa for the following reasons: - Their customers are unable to sponsor non-EU employee...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Hi all, I'd like to thank everyone who posted on here. I've just received my BRP today. It's a straightforward case - 6 years student, 2 years PSW + the rest Tier 1 General. All the updates, approvals (and refusal) has helped making the wait a lot more tolerable. So thank you. Here's my timeline. Ap...
