I am in the same boat applied on 16th May 2015 ,my application received on 19th May I have contact HO they called me saying my application still within 6 months to get the exact update you have to wait till 20th November .

I think that's a valid point July even few applicants from August are getting their approval letters. That will put me in a bit suspicious if black log is affecting May 15 applicants it should affect overall across the board.Once 6 months has past we can contact to local MP to write the letter to OH...

She is just her for 8 months any way not the end of the world if it reset her five years period.
I will extend her visa through FLR M for 2.5 years rather pay £1607 for PBS dep its better to pay £601 for FLR will extend again after 2.5 years again

Do I need to submit PBS dependant form or FLR (M) form?
As you might already know PBS dependant fees is twice as compare to FLR (M)

Its depends which Category dependent will be coming .
I am on Tier 1 General and my wife came last year in September 2013 as Tier 1 (General) dependent she doen't need any english Language Test
