If your annual UK income (before tax deduction) is more than minimum annual wage as per category code of your Cos, then you are fine.

* Not sure of the exact reason why you are asking for calculating income.

Please get NARIC letter if you are doubtful about convincing the CW with university name change. Investing £55 more is better than losing £1493. Choice is yours

You should be fine. If your visa was denied during to fee issues, then you are fine. Request SAR from UKBA that will provide you with more details.

Re: 35k salary requirement

Please check your Cos that should mention the number of hours and your yearly salary. Also 35K (including bonus+ pay) will be fine. You would need to get a letter from employer mentioning your Cos and stating your yearly salary at that time. So ensure that it is 35K in letter (mentioning basic+bonus...

AS per cricket79 "He was issued Tier 2 G on 5th january 2010 in my home country and he entered UK on 20th February 2010."

Amber, would'nt "cricket79" be eligible from 28 days before his first UK entry stamp on 20th Feb?

Re: Deputation letter, template?

Just mention the 100 days leave in employer absence letter and you should be ok. Date left uk, date entered uk and reason of leave are the things that ukba asks in set(o) unless the leaves are more than 180 days. Reason can be given as return to base india location When you mention employer absence...

It does not matter as you were not outside UK for more than 180 days. You can give a try whenever you are eligible for ILR.

You become eligible for ILR on 23 jan 2015 minus 28 days.

Roughly 25/26 dec 2014 pls do the maths for exact date.

Its 5 years (-28 d) from ur first uk entry stamp. Simple!

Re: Work visa for fiance??

Getting tier2 sponsor is not easy. Best option is to wait until she gets married to you and then immediately u apply dependent visa for her. This way she can apply for her ILR sooner (after few years) than resetting her clock if she loses TIer2 visa.

For your wife, only option 1 holds true. She will continue to hold tier2 dependent visa and once her visa expires she will have to extend it as a tier 2 dependent extension( even though u would hav got ur ILR by that time). Option2 : not sure if ur wife will get ILR after 2 years as she became tier2...

Re: Query on Applying for ILR

IMHO, you should be eligible to get ILR provided: 1) You applied within 28 days of visa expiry from 1 visa cat to another. 2) You did not spend 180 continuous days outside UK when you went back to India. If you can clearly write the approximates dates in and out of country with visa status, then it ...
