I dont think you can claim pension credit. Her status will be affected when her initial visa expires and you apply for an extension.

Just to let you know. My wife received her passport with her residency card. Time line is as follows:

March 3rd submission.
March 14th - CoA received but with no right to work
March 17th - called and asked why.
March 24th - new CoA with right to work
RC received April 23rd!

let's hope the card comes quickly as well!!!

I must say that they were quite helpful. I am a bit cynical until I see the paperwork. I called the home office on Monday and when I called back on Wednesday they say that the new CoA was issued that Wednesday morning. My wife actually received the NI with the family permit.

My wife's new CoA apparently has been issued as well but we have yet to receive it in the post. She has her NI number already. Crossing our fingers that it does arrive.

The letter we received did not give any phone number, fax number or even an email address. It was all left blank!
