@ajitu92 - Please could I ask if you have recorded any decisions this week for Set 0
None this week from non IDV yet.
Ok makes me feel less anxious. I am guessing it is generally slow this week.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Friend got a decision last week in 3 working days (T2G > Set O). But no decision update yet this week in the timelines forum. It’s the half term week so it is likely some staff is on annual leave. I submitted my biometrics on Friday 23rd early morning but I am not expecting decision this week altho...

I received my BRP this morning after complaining 4 times and escalating to the BRP depot manager.
However, I didnot get any instructions to cut the old BRP and send it back to HO, Can some one please advise?
You will need to cut the old BRP and send it back.

Thank you Navkant. Mine is on Friday so perhaps I might have to let you know. If someone has done it in current conditions, I 'll stop stressing and keep my appointment else I might end up cancelling and rebooking. Oh cool. Worth tweeting them and get a confirmation. Worth trying before the resched...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Does anyone have experience of bringing an infant not named on the application to a Service Point for a biometrics application. I know they say they would not allow anyone not named on the appointment inside on the UKVCAS website but then it also says exceptions apply. I am currently unable to find ...

You cannot change the form information after submission anyway. And as you are signing it is all true and accurate, it wouldn't be if if you submit now.
Makes perfect sense. Thank you !!

Re: MN1 Application

No. You can not apply before you are granted ILR. You can only run a dummy application but not submit. UK born child has an entitlement to be registered as BC after at least one parent has ILR. Visa expiry is irrelevant for the child. Thanks CULLINAN, so no leverage then. I have to wait. Why would ...

MN1 Application

Situation - I have two children born in the UK whilst I have been on Tier 2 General visa. I applied for their PBS dependent visas and these will expire on 28th Oct 2020. I am awaiting a decision on my ILR application ( biometrics scheduled 23rd Oct). I have not included my children on my ILR applic...

Hi Mate, I would really appreciate if anyone can help to see if there are still slots in either Southampton, Reading, Swindon or Guildford in Oct. I applied in early May and did IDV on 8 Sep. I was really wanting to rely on IDV but I am starting to worry as it has been more than 5 months since appl...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Are you doing predictive modelling? Members may be willing to pay you/Ameline given how uncertain things are hahaha! I would if I could, but the dataset just isn't big enough for any sort of predictive modelling. That being said with UKVI/HO, you can't predict them, they predict you! You guys made ...

@gag285 the consent form as the solicitor won't use the one I downloaded and signed before application submission (I know that's plain stupid on their part). It can be downloaded anytime as it’s available online but should be signed for on/after date of application or anytime before biometrics date...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

You can obviously delete or add documents during the appointment. You can not delete any self-submitted documents to UKVI. However, you can add more at the appointment yes. Yes sorry you can add and not delete via IDV but in-person they are able to delete if the scan is not clear ... I was thinking...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Apologies in advance if this is a numptie question, is a case worker able to look at documents that we upload at the UKVCAS site even before the biometrics. Some posts suggest they are as they just wait for biometrics afterwards and arrive at a decision straight away in some cases but then what does...

You can go for 2nd also regardless if you submitted today. But, depends if its still available or booked...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Any one with access to appointments able to see availability around London please. My solicitors tell me the earliest available is 23rd Oct which they have booked for us but I have no faith in them. I can push them to rebook if there are earlier slots available in/around London
