Not sure if you have seen my timeline, I had applied for biometrics in person appointment once, it was cancelled and I applied again and this time not giving enough time for them to cancel. I have another job opportunity that I need to take and hence the "try all option" attitude ! We als...

Hi All, I was eligible for ILR since 6th April but could not apply before lockdown happened and on June 4th applied when they opened back. Applied for ILR for me and my wife together. More 15days to go to complete 6 months and hoping that I get it before that. Our company has premium account with H...
Thanks, just check right to work and it still shows my current Tier-2 BRP validity and work rights. I did get a request to attach English test certificate three days after submitting Biometric which we did on the same day. No other queries or communication since then. Do you know what, this is the ...
Hi, We have applied for ILR via Tier-2 General 5year route for self, spouse and child. Submitted application on 16th Aug and provided in person biometric on 5th Sept. We are yet to hear from HO and as everyone else we are also quiet anxious with every passing days & Weeks. When we see on ILR Ti...
Looks like MPs are helping people who have job offers to accept. Is this true? I have a job offer with a pending start date of Jan 1, 2021. But still nothing from the HO. I also need to serve 1 month notice at my current employer. So that means I need to hand notice before end of NOv. Should I esca...
Unusually quiet day..hardly any decisions or discussions  Yes, I already said this last week. Things have gone to a standstill with lockdown 2.0 What a pain  . I am to receive a job offer which I cannot accept without ILR Looks like MPs are helping people who have job offers to accept.
Hi just generally asking, the ILR timelines, i see the major delays are mainly with the IDV app applicants, what about people who attended after 23 sep for biometric appointement? it seems they are getting a decision within 2 weeks? Thanks To answer, I submitted mine on 01st Oct with in person biom...
Somebody reported contacting their MP within like 6-7 weeks of their application and getting a response after the MP escalated. This seems odd because I was hearing (not sure where) that UKVI were not taking escalations any more and escalating within 6 months is anyways unlikely to yield anything. ...

The brp card - does it not come with 10 years of validity anymore? Is there a thread i can follow please if I posted on a wrong thread.. - I have read that currently these are valid until 31 Dec 2024 due to an EU regulated security feature constraint
I am a BC applicant but I have interacted with most of you in this thread and got your well wishes for my application. I would like to thank you all. My application is approved today Alhamdullilah. Thank you 🙏 https://www.immigrationboards.com/british-citizenship/biometrics-appointment-during-covid...
@gag285 no approval was received today not yesterday (assuming you mean Samarpan). @Happy2020 Many thanks for the update :) @Ameline - Correct,I got the date mixed up. Not sure why i thought it was 14th Nov today May be Saturday 14th Nov will be your big day and you receive your approval and depend...
@navkant, probably the first time I am seeing the SET(O/M) timeline thread not being updated for the whole day. I hope its just an off day and we'll begin to see decisions from next week BC forum approvals reported are also dead for the last 3 days. Not sure if overall HO operations are affected or...
@gag285 I agree, the focus was put back to Aug/Set Set(O) applicants especially IDV only users. However, they are still reviewing October applicants (e.g. fb user SET(O) Ancestry applied on 11/10/20 having in person appoint on 06/11/20 who got approval on 10/11/20). Indeed, it has just gotten rando...
Mid September they gave IDV access to applicants so they (late Sep IDV users) should be the last ones. The HO seem to be focusing on IDV backlog but they are also dealing with in-person. There have been approvals as early as October for similar timeline as yours (SET(O) Oct Applicant having had Oct...

According to the approvals reported in this forum and fb, the slowest week was the last week of October i.e. before lockdown. I don't think this has slowed down now. Yesterday we had a total of 10 SET reported which is not bad for Monday, hope it lasts. Guess my brain has gone into information bias...
The progress in general seems to have slowed down. No more swift decisions for Set O reported. My solicitors claimed that due to lockdown, home office has to reassign duties to staff that can work from home and this may well affect the number of cases that can be assessed in a given timeframe. I wo...
