she can apply for Retention of Visa on EU form 5 if the marriage is more than 3 years now but you should be divorced and divorce process must be iniciated before you leave the country , thats all DOJ says about this situation.

@ okdokie , if you and your friend got letter same day and sent the GNIB copy same days as well then why are you still waiting while your friend got letter wthin one week , was there any difference in your circumstances?

That's terrible , it's one year now then , did you ask them why didnt they decide your application when they have 6 month time to decide these applications .

Thanks calvin for your prompt reply , i just came back after sending copy of GNIB , actually i was under the impression that they will automatically know that my GNIB has been renewed by immigration officer in my area, that was my misunderstading .

@ tastylentils , its not that difficult but look its not working for you at the moment, it should be very easy anyway , your landlord doesnt, need pps number at all nor you are obliged to provide him, he just need pps number if he want to registered you tenancy with PRTB , so it should work very smo...

@Spicy , i got my retention application approved, did you use EU form 4 when you informed INIS in March 2013 or you just write them a letter ? its more than 1 year now, they must have decided now about your application , how many letters they wrote you after you informed them and what did they write...
