Re: British Citizenship for my Son

Can I withdraw my son's FLR (FP) application on my own without my solicitor? initially I submitted this form through my solicitor.I know I can withdraw by filling a form on line and I have got all the references I need.

I really need your advice.

Thanks

Re: About my solicitor please share your experience

Thanks Greenie for your reply. I wrote an email to my solicitor demanding all docs that he had sent to HO on behalf of me. and he sent me few docs and I have found few errors about me in his docs already. If he had given me a chance to look at them before he submitted them to HO I would have spotted...

About my solicitor please share your experience

Hi All Thank you very much for all your replies. This discussion board is very helpful. We have recently lodged our appeal for my husband’s ILR refusal through a solicitor. But we did not see what our solicitor has written as grounds of appeal. I think we should ask him to send us a copy of that as ...

Re: British Citizenship for my Son

Many thanks for your reply. I know that I will not get a refund for my pending application. That is not my worry. my main worry is that What if FLR (FP) is refused. I just do not want any negative comments on my son's visa history. FLR (FP) form did not make any sense to my son's situation. Anyway i...

Re: British Citizenship for my Son

Yes, if you advise the caseworker/department dealing with the FLR(O) or FLR(FP) that you are withdrawing the FLR(O) application as you have submitted MN1 under section 1(3), this should be fine. Dear CR001, Please advice, now my Lawyer says he can not withdraw my son's application as If I do not ge...

Re: British Citizenship for my Son

Many thanks for your reply. I submitted MN1 form through my local council , not through my Lawyer.

In that case I will notify HO regarding my son's MN1 application and withdraw pending visa application.

Thanks again.

British Citizenship for my Son

I completed my 10 years of lawful residence in the UK and applied for ILR and was granted on 01/03/2014. My son is 6 years old and was born in the UK. His resident permit was only up to 28/02/2014 and in early Feb I submitted form FLR(O) through my solicitor requesting an extension to his stay till ...

Re: My Husband's ILR Refused

A long but sure route to ILR will be to let your husband apply as the dependant of a settled person. in this case he can definitely apply for ILR after 5 years. Keep this as a surety option if appeal is not successful. Many thanks for your reply Apam. So if my appeal is not successful, then I can m...

Re: My Husband's ILR Refused

Many thanks for the reply. Could you kindly explain to me differences between going forward with appeal for my husband's refused ILR and FLR (M)? Which is more favorable? I understand if I apply under FLR (m) my husband will get an extension for another 2 years. But then after that what? How can I g...

My Husband's ILR Refused

I and my husband have been living in the UK since 2003 and we completed our 10 years in Oct 2013. During 2003 to 2013 we renewed our visas (student, PSW, again student) on time and no any overstays or any breach of law. My husband was out of the country for almost one year due to a family matter dur...
