Re: EEA Family Permit - Residence Card - Unmarried Partner

Hi J, This is my second time around for Unmarried Partner Residence Card (first one is about to expire). 1. It sounds like we received the same letter :) Not to worry, I believe it’s just a template they use! The RC CAN take UP TO 6 months, mine only took 7 weeks last time (‘up to 6 months’ was the...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi there, We've been calling the home office like a couple of times every month since february. Every time it's the same response - application is under consideration. We are a bit worried now since it's been well over 5 months. To the best of our knowledge the application is straight forward. We p...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi all, My partner and I have applied for an EEA2 (unmarried) visa early November 2013. It has now been 5 months since we applied. We have received the COA in December 2013 but still no RC. Looking at everyone's replies on this forum, I have noticed that a lot of people are getting their RC's whom ...

Re: Tier 5 Working VISA to Schengen

As an Australian, the validity of your UK visa is irrelevant when travelling in the Schengen area. Generally, Australian tourists planning to spend less than a total of 90 days within a 180 day period in the 'Schengen area' do not require visas for countries which are parties to the Schengen Convent...

Re: Right to Work / CoA

Hi, Unfortunately, Section 3c Leave does not apply when someone makes an application under European Law. Your partner will only be able to work until the expiry of his current visa. I've just been through this process, as the non-EEA national I had to formally resign from work. Luckily, my visa was ...

Re: From Tier 5 to EEA

You can apply for a RESIDENCE CARD on form EEA2. EEA1 is optional. You need to provide us with proof that the family members included on your application are related to you as claimed. To demonstrate this, you will need to provide original marriage, civil partnership or birth certificates. If you ar...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Many Congrats!! Could you please let me know why you sent a letter from your partner's brother? Thanks for sharing your experience. I read somewhere that others included letters from friends/family to confirm their knowledge of the relationship. We also lived with him for the first month we arrived.

I DID NOT ; - have a Family Permit, I had a YMS points based visa, which expired January 2014 - have a Registration Certificate (EEA1) for my partner - just an EU passport - request the return of either passport ...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

I don't know about you guys, but i find this so ridiculous and unfair. Preaching about Equalities and Human rights is one thing, applying it fairly is another. If someone gets married after one month of meeting their partner will have automatic rights, but unmarried partners who have been together ...
