Re: EEA citizen without PR and on-hold? Post here your timel

Hi Samaralady I saw on another thread that your letter is on its way, congrats! Please let us know when your brown envelope comes in :-) You applied without PR card, right? Eligibility criteria: 5yr + 1 year ILR Method of application: NCS Wandsworth Nationality: German Date of application: 16/06/20...

Re: June 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

It has arrived.

Tomorrow it would have been 7 months.

Enclosed with the letter was a leaflet asking me to take part in a customer service survey.

The irony.

Yet I don't want to be ungrateful. The wait is over.

Re: April 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Hi juansmith007, sorry to hear that... :-( Did you call the HO again for a status update? I saw on another thread that an EEA application from June 2014 seems to have been processed and letter seems to be on its way... 9 months today.... and counting This may refer to me ... the sad thing is that i...

Re: Applicants waiting for 6 months

I agree with you on the latter point that their aim to process applications within 6 months is pointless. I didn't bother to do anything for the first 6 months, but on the fist day of the 7th month I wrote to my MP and have constantly been bothering the HO on the phone: I vant ze response now! I hav...

Joy in the morning (or evening, as the case might be), my letter is in the post.

After 7 months.

Mind you, they didn't say it was an approval.

Re: June 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Light at the end of the tunnel: Phoned HO today, been advised that a decision had been made and the letter is in the post. I should have it by the end of the week. People were born, got married and died in the time that it took to reach that point. Probably the same people who were born got married ...

Re: HOW DOES THE SYSTEM WORK?!

I think for every suggestion here there is at least one case which disproves it. I can't guess. I have been waiting for over 6 months. We all consider our applications as straightforward, maybe they aren't. I provided payslips and employers letters covering the relevant period. I wouldn't call mysel...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

I'm not a great one asking questions (more famous for venting my anger), but does anyone know whether the UKBA actually check HMRC records? I started a new job on 1 May 2014 and applied for naturalisation on 16 June. As an EU citizen, I needed to prove that I have been exercising treaty rights, so I...

Hope it doesn't affect unnecessarily.
It doesn't explain why November applications already get their approval while April, May and June applications are still collecting dust.

Re: May 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

7 month and counting...no idea when this wait will be over. The most annoying thing is not telling you clearly why the delay or how long it's gonna be..just feels like money paid and that's it. Do whatever you can. Write to your MP. Call them every day if need be. Send them letters every day if nee...

Re: February 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

It can't be a limited number of applications per year because in the other forum I saw one person who applied in late October and got his approval in November. 4 weeks! If there was a limited number, they should let everyone wait. And what are the differences between the tests they carry out on some...

Come on, do it guys - I can't do it yet, I've officially still got to wait ...
