Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

I phoned this morning and was told they are still looking at January applications. Interestingly they asked me to do a survey about contracting them. I think they may move in the future to having an online tracking system, which would be so much better for those of us waiting!

That should have said 'do you hurry home' I must be hungry if I manage to turn that sentence in to something about yogurt!

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

Cheers askim. Just called the ukba and they said that they are still looking at the January applications. :? They said the same when I called. Someone else on here called on the same day and were told December, yet some Feb people have had their decisions! For our first visa at least we had an onli...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

Fingers crossed Anaia!

It shows that they must be looking at some Feb applications. Does any one know if it makes a difference what SET you are on? E.g. Do they do all the SET O's together or do they just do a mix?

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

Does anyone have the phone number to check on the status of applications? The one I had for SetM applications (0870 606 7766) does not exist anymore!

Thank you :-)

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

I really really wish we had used the same day service now. We were wrongly advised that the process would take 6 weeks. We had 6 weeks to spare, but at the time didn't have the extra money to pay for the same day service. Now we are trying to open a third business and it looks like it will stall due...

Settlement checking service for SET M

Does anyone know if there is a difference in processing times if you use this service? In theory as your application is checked, contains all relevant information, the HO don't have to send any documents back and everything is in the order the HO like. Then it must help speed it up? I know I'm clutc...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

When we handed our application in via the Settlement checking service, we were advised that applications normally take around three months, but posts on here seem to contradict this. Could this delay be because there was a higher number of applications in October to beat the deadline and then a dela...

How long does an ILR application take

We submitted our application three weeks ago, via the Settlement checking service. Our payment has been taken and we have a letter to say they have received our application. We expected a letter pretty quickly to ask my husband to go and do his biometrics, but three weeks later there is still no let...
