Re: salary drop just before application query.

Thank you very much! The final thing in respect to that letter, would it need to be dated as close to the date of application as possible, i.e the day/week before ideally? thanks. Within 28 days from the date of application. Thanks. Presumably, because I'm still with the same employer, just transit...

Re: salary drop just before application query.

Hi there, I am currently in a job paying around £27,000 per annum and have been for the past 5 and a half years. From the start of December, instead of losing my job due to coronavirus and other issues, my company is redeploying me to a role paying just over £18,600 (big pay drop, but technically o...

IVF on Spousal Visa

Hi there, My wifes spousal visa was granted in 2015(i'm a UK national) and we have been paying an NHS surcharge. Are we entitled to free IVF treatment on this visa? Re: Name on cohabitation documentation important question

Do energy bills, internet bill e.t.c all need to be bills sent out by the company in the post, or can they be printed statements from the internet? The statements online are the same as would be sent out, just printed rather than received via mail.

thanks

Your name and her name should be fine, i.e John Smith & Jane Doe.
She doesn't go by my surname officially as her official documentation is still in her name.

thanks.

You means my wifes individual name as it appears on her passport, rather than Mr and Mrs (my surname)?

kind regards.

Name on cohabitation documentation important question

Hi there, Me and my wife in the future will be applying after the 2.5 year point for an extension to the spousal visa. My wife is from a country where they use family (surname) first followed by 1st and 2nd name and this is also the way it is in all of their documentation from their home country e.g...

After visa centre appointment

After one has submitted their application form and supporting documents, they just wait for an email about the decision, or should
the visa centre acknowledge the application has been sent and if so surely it should be within 7 days (visa centre acknowledgement)?

kind regards.

Re: checklist for visit visa for marriage?

I believe you also need to provide evidence of where you'll live - be it a rental agreement or mortgage statements. I was advised by my solicitor to provide details of the house as well. That one is a bit trickier, but I had a copy of the estate agent details from when I bought my house. Thank you ...

Re: visitor marriage visa and ceremony queries

You don't need a visa specifically for the marriage 'blessing' but you will of course have to apply for an entry visa. I'm assuming your future wife doesn't intend to settle here. We don't intend to settle here straight away no, but in the future we would like to - but not right now. She is from a ...

Re: visitor marriage visa and ceremony queries

1. Yes 2. No. You can't marry twice. 3. Not required for a marriage 'blessing' but you would need to show strong reasons for your spouse to leave the UK without overstaying a family visitor visa. Thank you very much. So you're saying that if we were to have a vow renewal instead, it would be best t...

Visitor visa for marriage queries.

- Does my partner need to be in the UK for the 7 days before we visit the registry office or can I give notice myself and she can come after the 15 days has elapsed? It makes it awkward with job/work if a minimum of 23 days NEEDS to be taken before the actual ceremony. - How long before the actual w...
