Re: 10 year ban citizenship banned rejected appeal

The issue with me is that I genuinely didn’t declare because I wasn’t unaware that I had to or even have criminal record. Firstly I was told at police station it won’t be on my record and, 1 year prior the application I did a CRB check that came up clear - to only find out after the application that...

10 year ban citizenship banned rejected appeal

Hi all I applied for BC 5 years ago and got rejected and banned for 10 years for not declaring a conviction that took place 2.4years prior the application- I wasn’t aware it was on my record/has to be declared. At 19 years of age, I had a brawl with my neighbour and we both got arrested and taken to...

Re: Renewing passport - restamping ILR visa

I have already booked my appointment with the premium centres. I called the HO and they said as long as your passport is valid on the day it's fine and the 6 points will be okay as well. So one last q please: when you fill the application do you add the date of the arrest or the date of the court (...

Getting BRP (I already got stamped ILR visa)

Hello, My passport expires in August 2016 and my ILR visa is stamped on it. Getting my new passport might take a while thus I would like to apply for the BRP card now just in case. I would like to do it at the centres: Does this mean I will get it on the same day? I have 6 points on my license from ...

I have no idea. I don't think it is stated inthe letter. It should start from the date of the letter shouldn't be?

Re: Renewing passport - restamping ILR visa

Having the conviction in court, you could be right, possibly. I wouldn't comment on that! But I don't feel that they could decline your application, because you are not applying for a new stay, you are simply applying for exchange of a paper ILR for BRP. I would consider it like replacing old paper...

Re: Renewing passport - restamping ILR visa

I guess you should get it straight - you already have Indefinite Leave to Remain. You are not applying for a new one. In your situation you would use form TOC, I believe. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/application-to-transfer-visa-to-biometric-residence-permit-form-toc https://www.whatd...

Renewing passport - restamping ILR visa

Good morning, I'm in a bad situation now. I have an ILR visa stamped on my passport, but the passport is going to be expired in August 2016. In order to renew the passport I will have to hand in the current one then they will issue me a new one. Now I understand that I will have to apply for BRP/Unl...

Re: Transferring ILR visa to BRP application questions

So I wanted to ask given my situation, could my application be rejected if I declared those (or do they need to be declared?) Declare them for what? Is there an application you are making? I would like to make an application as explained in the post? I just want to know beforehand if those problems...

Re: I Applied for BC but got caught for speeding!!

Just an update on this thread, this issue didn't come up on my record during UKBA check, however, an old one which I never thought is an issue (12 months Bind over peace which happened 2-3 years before application) came up on my record, which resulted in rejection of my application and 10 year ban. ...

Re: Citizenship application got rejected

A caution is not a sentence at court, find out what the sentence was. Hello Amber, it's been a long time. But not having citizenship is really causing me problems such as traveling limitations and etc. So I started looking into it again. I just contacted the court and this was the sentence as they ...

Re: Citizenship application got rejected

I'm assuming it was just a caution, as I remember both parties got courted, and they warned us not to fight again otherwise we will be fined an amount of money. The saddest thing about this is I was the one who got attacked and now I'm paying for it, and this man got my little brother and father in ...

Re: Citizenship application got rejected

We have contacted the court and they said yes I was convicted! But it was put down last year. Not sure as my dad phoned them and I wasn't there but that's what he said.
