Re: Tier 2 general extension

Hi CR001,
I found this salary for soc 3545 in the "code of practice for skilled worker" documents on UKVI website. Link Below (Refer pages 80 and 81).

Re: Tier 2 general extension

Hi, As of today, it is £32,500 for 40hrs week but most probably by April 2017, UKVI issue new SOC document so keep checking for the update and the required salaries are expected to increase. From April 2017, the Experienced rate should be £30K minimum. Your required salary will be over 30 anyway so ...

Re: Tier2 to ILR confusion of £35000

Thanks CR001 for the updated info. There is still little confusion. It also says that the employer must be paying the appropriate pay for that SOC. Let say if a person has SOC 1234 and appropriate salary for this code is 40K then should not the employee be earning 40K at the time of ILR? Thanks, Has...

Re: Tier2 to ILR confusion of £35000

Hi,

The qualifying salary should either be 35K or minimum required for the respective SOC code (whichever is higher).

Your friend needs to verify that his SOC code respective salary is 35K or less in order to meet ILR conditions.

Hassan

Re: Submit a T2 dependant extension visa application 9 month

As CR001 said, they can apply anytime for extension. Regarding IHS, you will have to pay for your wife and children at the time of extension as it is mandatory to be paid but you may get a refund once they successfully get their ILR. If you search the forum, some members have successfully reclaimed ...

Re: Off Sick while on Tier2

Hi,
I believe it should not be a problem but your employer must need to inform UKVI about the salary reduction due to sick leave within 10 working days after salary reduction.

Current Passports, BRPs and 2 x pictures are the only mandatory documents in extension applications. When you will apply online, it will show you the list of mandatory documents to be sent.

Required is 31,100 for 39 hour week.

Yours should be fine if you work 39 hours a week or less.

Re: Tier 2 Dependent to Student Visa

Hi,

You can apply from your home country but UKVI may not consider you a genuine student and will consider that you are applying for student visa just to complete your 10 years, this may eventually result in refusal.

Your wife can switch in country as Tier 4 student from Tier 2 General.

Re: Tier 2 Visa Extension Requirements

The new salary does not necessarily need to be prior to the application. No payslips are required to submit with the extension application.

The new salary just to be mentioned on the COS and the new salary should be paid from the start date on new COS.

I hope this helps.

Hassan

Re: Tier 2 General Salary

Got job offer of 44K, sponsor is issuing COS for 32K, will it create any problem?
The correct salary which is agreed with employer should be mentioned in the COS. In your case it should be 44K.

Thanks

As per my understanding, an immigrant will have a 60 days windows in which he’s entitled to look for work/ or complete a notice period with a previous employer. The above works when you have valid leave to remain under your previous BRP to cover the complete notice period. I would not advise you to...

Thanks Frontier Mole and Wanderer for your valuable inputs. Relieved to know that if we at least keep our P60 record safe, then we are protected against this kind of situation.

I hope the OP has all the required P60s to fight his case.

Re: PSC - Set O - Result Pending

This is usual for them. When they put application on hold for further enquiries, then they took many weeks to process the application.

You should not worry, if all your documents are in order. Your application will be approved eventually. Keep phoning them.
