Re: Tier 2 PAYE taxes and ILR

You as a tax payer have the responsibility to ensure your tax is accounted for. Unfortunately pay slips are not worth the paper they are printed on. Your P60 is the only valid document to prove tax and NI. Do you have P60's from the first sponsor?? Apologise, if I am diverting the topic but we have...

Will there be any problem for employer A if they will continue employee me beyond 24/08/16, they might say that you are not on our sponsored visa According to my knowledge, you will not be able to work for sponsor A beyond 24/08 if you are changing sponsor. I would suggest you to wait for Gurus' ad...

Agree with Frontier Mole. Reducing number of hours will definitely cause compliance issue for the sponsor.

Re: Tier 2 Extension for a New Employer

Hi, The only thing you can do is to negotiate with the prospective employer to reduce number of working hours. The salary can then be lowered by pro-rating it according to number of hours you will work. My only concern is this will void the current RLMT they have conducted and they will have to re-d...

Re: Job Title Change

Hi, You do not need to apply for visa as your SOC has not been changed and your job responsibilities are still the same. The minor changes like Job Title change etc should be reported to UKVI by employer. I don't think if UKVI will take serious action on this minor thing but you never know. Ask your...

Re: Job Title Change

Hi,

Yes, your HR will need to inform UKVI through SMS system within 10 working days from the date your job title changes.

Your HR will need to do this by going in report migrant activity in sms system.

Thanks,
Hassan

Re: Tier 2 general extension- in country aplication

Hi Sanjeev, UKVI normally not always send acknowledgement letters and usually send biometrics letters only. I think you should give about 2 week for the biometrics letter. I am not sure if you can change to priority service from postal and other senior members will respond on this. Can I ask you a q...

Re: Curtailment of leave to remain in the UK

It looks like a mistake from UKVI side. Write back to them (make sure you sent it through recorded delivery). Also, ask your wife to speak to her Employer.

Her Employer can contact employer helpline and they may be able to help in a quicker manner. Don't worry, this will resolve soon.

Then I would suggest you to wait for senior members to respond as I am not sure what is the validity of restricted cos (I think it should be same three months from assigning but worth checking with others).

Re: Tier 2 visa and COS timings

Cos validity starts when it is assigned and it is valid for three months after assigning. It means you have to use that COS (for visa application) within those three months. There should not be any problem if COS is approved in June and you use it in August as long as you use it within three months ...

One more question. I know that we are not required to show maintenance in extension applications. Are our dependents also not required to show maintenance funds?

Thank you very much for your response ShrutiBlue. That definitely helped. The reason I was saying that I may be charged for 5 years visa fee was that if I apply too early (say 1st July) with Cost start date for 1st September (for three years) , then I will probably receive BRP before 1st September a...

Re: Redundancy

Hi, Sorry to hear about this. Your Tier 2 leave will remain active for at least two months. Once, your employer informs UKVI through sms system, then UKVI will right to you to curtail your leave and will give you 60 days to either leave the country or to find a new sponsor. UKVI usually takes about ...
