Re: MAC review of TIER 2 route

Not restricting Tier 2 dependant work is the only good thing about the report. Skill Levy is something which is of more concerned as the smaller companies would not like to pay this hefty amount. Also, this is not clear that will this skill levy be apply in Extension applications for the ones who ar...

Re: Tier 2 License Initial Home office visit

Hi, If you are going to POE appointment then ask your new employer to put start date in the COS in such way that you be able to serve your notice period. For example, if your notice period is one month and you apply on 1st December using PEO then ask your new employer to put start date as 1st Januar...

Re: Tier 2 License Initial Home office visit

Hi, There should not be anything to worry about. Usually UKVI takes 2 to 3 weeks to make the decision after the visit. Your company HR can contact the UKVI person who handed over the visiting card in regards to the status of License application. They can also request to expedite the process as they ...

Hi Uzair, Yes, you do need to pay Immigration Health Surcharge for your son and it will be £200 per year. Wait for Experts' response.

Hi,

I have no clue why have you received this. Best is to phone UKVI and ask why have you received this letter.

Re: Premium service appointment - bring dependent?

Hi,

You can take her to Premium Service Centre. They will allow her in and in worst case she will have to wait in the waiting area.

It is your visa application so you do not need to take your wife's payslips with you.

Thanks,

Re: Salary increment while in Tier 2.

Hi Ravi, You employer should be reporting this to UKVI within 10 working days of the pay rise. They should tell them that on the basis of your performance, they have increased your salary from £XXX to £YYY. The only increase in salary which should not need to be reported is the annual increment or b...

Re: Cooling off period, even if you left on your own accord?

Hi,

Cooling off period starts from the date you left the UK.

Unfortunately, if you take more than 6 months to come back to UK then your previous years will not count towards ILR.

I don't know exactly how you add sponsors note but it is to be done from the SMS system and the user who uses the SMS system in that company must know how to do this.

Re: CoS salary different (lower) than actual contract salary

Hi,

Did they tell you the reason why they are doing so?

If you have not applied for the visa then they can simply put a sponsors note on the cos mentioning that they have put the wrong salary and actual salary would be whatever amount it is.

Thanks,
Hassan

Re: Confused on CoS allocation

It should be company's level 1/2 user or Authorising officer who should be accessing the UKVI sms system. If anyone else is using that system, it means they are breaching the sponsors roles and responsibilities. They will have to request unrestricted COS for you which takes about two week. After tha...
