Only one salary paid through cheque

Hi, I'm on Tier 1 General and going to apply for ILR soon. I was going through my payslips and bank statements and I realized that for one month out of twelve, I was paid by a cheque. All the other 11 salaries have been paid to me by direct bank transfers. For 11 salaries, the narration that goes in...

Re: Salary on wage slip different from bank statement

Thanks. I got my answer. Our accounts manager just emailed me and said that it is not possible to send me an amended payslip. They are, however, happy to provide a letter (on the official letterhead of the company) stating why the salary on payslip is different from the one that actually got credite...

Salary on wage slip different from bank statement

Hi, I'm on Tier 1 General and going to apply for ILR soon. For the month of March 2014, the salary that was credited into my bank account by my employer was £1,079.70, while the net pay on my wage slip shows an amount of £991.70 . This means that there is a difference of £88. This difference of £88 ...

Re: Does everyone need to give proof of absenses?

Further to this question, I'll really appreciate if you could help me with another question please. Is it mandatory for me to attach a print-out of the Point Based Calculator when I apply for ILR? The reason I'm asking this is because I was awarded 30 points for my degree at the time of initial gran...

Does everyone need to give proof of absenses?

Hi, I have been in the UK since 2009 on Tier 1 General. I am going to apply for ILR in September 2014. During the last five years, I visited Pakistan twice, first time I stayed in Pakistan for 8 days and second time I stayed there for about 21 days. This was purely a family visit, as I went there to...

Re: No cohabitation documents

My wife was last granted leave in September 2010. Actually I must admit that I'm a cleanliness freak and I throw away unwanted letters/ junk mail from time to time. I think I have thrown away some of mail that was in her name (like surgery appointments, hospital appointments etc.) more than 2 years ...

No cohabitation documents

Hi, I'm going to apply for ILR soon. We've been living at an address for the last about 4 years (main applicant + 4 dependants). All the bills and council tax were being paid by our landlord. I have my bank statements, credit card statements, driving license etc. at this address. But unfortunately, ...

Question 7.11 of set (o)

Hi, my query is about question 7.11 of set (0) form. It says "how long have you lived in the UK?". Does this question refer to the overall time spent in the UK? (Like student visa+PSW+tier 1 etc )? Or does this question refer to the time spent in the UK in the last five years on tier 1 gen...

Re: ILR qualifying period start date

Hi, Can you please tell me where did you read this; “The period between entry clearance being issued and the applicant entering the UK may be counted toward the qualifying period, as long as it does not exceed 90 days. This can occur if the applicant is delayed travelling to the UK. The period of de...
