Spouse Visa + English Test 2yr Validity+ COVID19

Hi there, I'm looking to make an application for my wife soon for a new initial spouse visa. We left the UK in 2014 and have been overseas for 6 years now. My wife was previously in the UK on a 2 year spouse visa which was then renewed via old style FLR(M) in 2014. At this point she took a GESE Leve...

Re: Question about expiry date of GESE A1 Certificate

Initial Leave to remain for Spouse followed by FLR(M)

We then for personal reasons had to move overseas.

She got FLR(M) under the old pre 5 year routes rules.

Question about expiry date of GESE A1 Certificate

Hi all, I'm due to make an application next year for my wife next year for us to come back to the UK after a period overseas. When we were in the UK last year for a trip I got my wife through a GESE A1 test again and we have the SELT number etc. All other parts of the application in order. My questi...

Re: Spouse visa: copies of documents.

Just to be clear

You should submit

Bundle A - Originals or certified copies of original documents (Scans / photocopies not acceptable)

Bundle B - Photocopies of everything in Bundle A.

Bundle B will be retained and Bundle A will be returned to you.

Re: Questions about Islamabad VAC

From your post it seems you have not done a lot of research about the immigration process and what is required. I would suggest reading round a lot more if you intend to self submit your visa. It maybe worthwhile paying for the services of a professional immigration advisor to do a document check fo...

Re: 3 Month Spouse Validity

As long as the visa is still valid you won't have issues re-entering the UK. However your issue will be Spain. http://es.vfsglobal.co.uk/Manchester/tourist_visit_documents_required.html And in particular this sentence -> Your passport must be valid for at least another 90 days beyond your return dat...

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/284160/Public_funds_v12_0EXT.pdf Page 8 of this document regarding public funds states that Maternity Allowance is NOT a public fund. You therefore have no reason not to hide this income. Like I said you should not hide the fa...

Re: Ukrainian spouse , accomodation requirements

Your friend letting you stay will be cheaper but there will be more burden of proof in documentation. If they own you will need a copy of the house deeds (preferably certified by a solicitor) and a letter from your friend giving your permission to stay. You will also need maybe a floor plan or a few...

Re: Employment Letter for FLR(M) spouse visa

UK V&I have access to both Department for Social Security & HMRC systems so they WILL know about it.

Not declaring income like that could lead to them looking in more depth at your application that what they might normally do as it might been as deliberately trying to mislead.

Question about returning resident visa

Hi guys, This is just a very quick question about the returning resident visa. We're currently in the UK with my wife now on FLR(M) as described in another post. My wife want's us to move back to her country in the not too distant future - next 1 - 5 years - we've not moved yet due to various person...

FLR(M) (Pre July 2012 Rules) PEO Success @ Liverpool

Hi all, Myself and my wife have recently got an FLR(M) Pre July 2012 Rules extension at PEO Liverpool. Due to my wife's age (unwillingness to study) / the fact that we will eventually be moving to her country her English wasn't good enough for LIUK / B1 so we had to go for a straight renewal. I prep...

Re: FLR(M) - English Language Requirement - Valid Docs?

I can't comment on your degree certificates but it sounds like your wife would easily pass a GESE test. If you're not 100% sure that the degree certificate would be acceptable you can do a GESE test for £110. (http://www.englishexamcentres.co.uk) . They have testing centres all over the UK and if yo...

Very quick question re extension / unexpired validity

HI there, My wife is due for a FLR(M) renewal shortly. My question is - if we apply 28 days out from the expiry date of the visa - does the unexpired validity of the current visa get added to the new visa or do you lose that validity and the new visa starts on the date it's issued (if you go through...
