I ve used the one on the receipt when you applied for ILR.They give a payment receipt when u apply for ILR and that's got a Home office REf.
I ve used premium processing last year and my solicitor asked me use the same ref no for naturalisation.

If your child is born after you & partner obtained ILR ,you can apply british citizenship by picking up a UK passport application form from a postoffice.

If your child is born before you & partner obtained ILR ,you need to use form MN1 and apply for registration for your child.

I would beleive they have got no real information on the status. It gets updated only when it is scanned ,decision made ,decision sent.

But strange some people had updates like initial checks finished, last stages of application.

UKBA systems are really the Eight wonder on this planet.

One referee has got to be of professional standing like Director or one from the list

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

and the other referee has got to be British and aged above 25 years.

Naturalisation is a discretionary power. There is no right of appeal against a refusal of naturalisation. However, reasons must be given and there is no limit on the scope of judicial review of such a refusal.

I am aware that naturalisation applications are processed in 3-6 months
from the UKBA website for 95% applications. What would happen once it crosses the six month period.Do i call UKBA and challenge them for not deciding on application in the time window of six months.

Hi rnr79,Nazia88 I wish you receive your approvals soon.I know it would sound silly how we kept thinking over the period of naturalisation and did nothing than thinking of approval. You might laugh off after 6 months or a year over how stressed you were at this period thinking of speedy decision. I h...
