Re: eea family permit for my mother in law

Guys, I was wondering if you could help me out. We are sending EEA 2 for my mother who is a US citizen, and my husband is Dutch, (so we are applying as EEA family member dependent). Should we send my husband's Dutch passport or a copy will be sufficient. Also, my birth certificate (proof that she is...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Timeline - I just posted above the timeline and it seems that it takes about 5-6 weeks in the best case and about 2 months regularly. Passports - I asked the passport the same day as the application arrived and it did not affect the outcome in any way. I would suggest to wait until you receive the a...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

I don't think 17 days (including weekends) is a very long time, BUT you could call them if you like. It won't do any harm. Just tell them that you need the COA but haven't received it yet. My Timeline 11 March EEA2 Submitted with EEA1 Card ( marriage route since 2012) 13 March Received 20 March COA...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

It's a vignette normally placed in your passport. Since you have requested your passports back, you will get yours on an A4 piece of paper. They're both the same thing, but the A4 piece of paper is a little more hassle as you have to look after 2 different documents, instead of only a passport. Don...

Re: british passport for a EEA child born in the uk

Get a form from the post office (there is only one type of form). Attach parent Dutch passport, 5 P60s from before the child birth and UK birth certificate (long one with parents names). See also https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/treaty-rights Thank you for your reply. Got the form and the...

Re: british passport for a EEA child born in the uk

Hello everyone, I was wondering it anyone can list the application procedures (including the application forms needed) for a EEA national baby born in the UK. My husband is Dutch and had lived in the UK 5 years before our baby was born. As far as I understand that should be sufficient for her to cla...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

I am a US citizen and my husband is Dutch, with a permanent job in the UK. I recently applied for EEA2 and below is the timeline. We have been married a year and living at the same address in the UK for 4 months. I had included our two passports, marriage certificate, council tax and energy utility ...
