Re: Enter UK WITHOUT Family Permit

mmalinconia, how was your travel?

I successfully got back to the UK through Eurostar from Paris.
I was traveling with my wife, showed passport, marriage certificate and COA. (Though, I don't have family permit). Whole thing took about 5-10 minutes.

In my case it took them less than 10 working days to return documents. I got them last week.

Re: UK travel but need advice before travelling

Hi Umbro! In the past I got this stamp travelling without FP. I was traveling with my wife who already was a resident in the UK. So I needed to show the paperwork not only about marriage but also that she is working in the UK. At the end it went OK, took me about 15 min or so to explain and show doc...

Re: Enter UK WITHOUT Family Permit

Yes, I am non-EEA spouse of an EEA national. No family permit (FP) or residency card. I am traveling with my EEA spouse. My question is about people travelling to the UK without FP or residency cards. Basically I don't want to waste my time applying and waiting for FP. I would prefer go to the immig...

Enter UK WITHOUT Family Permit

Hi guys, I would like you all to share your experience or post your opinion about entering the UK WITHOUT family permit (FP). According to the law you don't need a FP to enter UK (see reference 1). I tried in the past and entered UK without FP. Some reported problems boarding the plane - air compani...

If you would like to get passports back faster - add prepaid next day delivery envelope to your application.
My passports arrived 7 working days after my request in my prepaid envelope.

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

If you have your family permit, and you find work with it, it shouldn´t be a problem for your wife to go back or for you to have a job while she is visiting Slovakia. If you decide to apply for the residence, that may be a bit more complex. Again, this is all based on things read and heard, don´t t...

Re: Bank balance

re CoS Even after certificate has already been issues employer can login to SMS and add a note to certificate: "we hereby certify maintenance for employer's dependants." Takes literally 1 minute to do. Then print a copy of CoS with this note and attach to application instead of the old copy.
