no employment as a professional sportsperson

I am guessing this means you can't be HIRED as professional sportsperson. So what if you ARE a pro. sportsperson such as Pro Golfer who is not hired by anyone but plays it professionally (for prize money in competitions)?

Thank you

Re: Documents - Tier 1 200K

2- Yes you can apply for main applicant only, if you mention in your application that dependents are travelling with you then you should have sufficient funds for maintenance. 3- The visa is issued for 3 years and 4 months, if your entry in UK is after 4 months then your visa will expire before you...

Re: Documents - Tier 1 200K

1) Instead of writing in paragraph, make a list of it and make it more presentable for people to answer your query. If information is jumbled up, not many people would even bother reading it. Kindly make a list (one by one) of documents which you have already prepared. 2) You cannot say in applicat...

Re: Dependents Application

In fact, i think the best thing is to apply alone (but still mention the dependent traveling with the me) in the main application, but do not apply for them yet. Get the process over and approved, only pay for myself, just in case there is a problem or refusal for any reason then the others are not ...

Re: Bank format

Was reading more into the guideline, seems UKBA 'should' accept just a standard statement from the bank if the bank and money in the UK. This means if someone managed to transfer the money to a bank in the UK (under their name of course), then a bank statement alone will be enough. Let me know if my...

Re: Confirmed by case worker

Get it in writing, these things need legal confirmation... I 2nd that. Look at the policy guideline, Page 9, Point 36 & 39. You can give yourself salary as long as it does not counts from your original capital requirements. So i think you will have hard time during extension. Now if the busines...
