Visa fees for 2017/18

Has there been any recent announcements on the visa fees for 2017/2018?

If there's no change and the new year has started, does that mean no further fees changes until next year?

Thanks

Re: FLR(M) question 5.10

Answer honestly and provide an explanation. HO will know all of this. How did she answer a similar question in her initial spouse visa application form? That's just it, I don't recall how I answered this question last time round. I *suspect* it was No (see below) I've heard that once under appeal, ...

FLR(M) question 5.10

5.10 Have you ever remained in the UK beyond the validity of your visa? How do I answer this one? Before I even knew her, my wife came to UK on family visit visa for 6 months. Prior to expiration, she applied for an extension which was refused and they appealed. Prior to appeal, she left UK and retr...

Does Fiance visa time count towards ILR

My wife arrived in UK on a Fiance visa (2014) - does the time spent in UK during that period count towards the 5 year stay?

We used almost the entire 6 months of the Fiance visa before applying for Leave to Remain hence wondering if it counts for ILR purposes.

Re: English language requirement for FLR(M) application

Can someone please advice on the English requirements. As I see it, I have three options: 1) Use the A1 certificate from 2014 fiancé visa application (Exam sat with English Academy with Trinity College) - worried about the 2 year expiry on exams 2) sit new A1 exam at Trinity College 3) sit new A2 ex...

Re: English language requirement for FLR(M) application

I just read that English exams are only valid for 2 years - does that mean we have to take another English exam for FLR(M) in any case (regardless of the May 2017 date for A2)? If the above is true, may as well take the A2 exam rather than A1. Are there any issues with submitting an English exam cer...

Re: English language requirement for FLR(M) application

Does that mean we can still use the A1 English Certificate from 30 months ago for the FLRM) application in March 2017?

FYI, the A1 exam was sat at The English Academy.

English language requirement for FLR(M) application

For FLR(M) application due in March 2017 – is the requirement A2 of CEFR? If so, is this the right exam to book? http://www.trinitycollege.com/site/?id=3600 I realise we may be able to use the previous A1 exam but there are caveats around that – I just want to be sure that if we sit the A2 as above,...

Thanks for the update. I'm not usually bothered about such interim updates but we have a hotel booked for 8 nights which is refundable before 13th Aug so ideally I'd like to have the visa before that date. We fly out on 26th Aug, so don't know what to do if the visa doesn't arrive before that the 13...
