I am indeed an EEA citizen (British), we didn't take our marriage certificate with us How can they make such a mistake? Would this have been at VFS or at the Spanish embassy? I'm not sure how it works to be honest... Constructive feedback is treated as a complaint and an opportunity for continuous ...

a reimbursement for at least the visa which was issued incorrectly, this is not my mistake but theirs... A visa for a family member of a EEA citizen should be free. The cost was £47.40 through VFS & £14.80 for return by special delivery, there was also an admin fee i believe not to mention a £4...

the visa arrived on the 21st, so didnt get to see it until i returned from work, the 22nd was a saturday and the 23rd was a sunday and they were closed... what a nightmare...

Even though it is their error? Can anything be done about this then? It is because of their incompetence that my wife was refused her flight. She was in tears, was not a pleasant experience...

And your birth certificate. See also the guidance (click) documents and table b. I'm back :) Hopefully Amber still uses this board... i have just come across another section on the documents checklist which is making me wonder if i need my mothers birth certificate to carry out this application... ...

My daughters Indonesian birth certificate to prove i am father? Her Indonesian passport to prove her identity and our marriage certificate to prove her legitimacy?

I think she only becomes a British citizen if she was born in the UK on or after 1st January 1983?

So all i have to do is send off for a British passport? And to obtain the British passport i would need to send the following: Indonesian birth certificate? To prove i am the father and that she is eligible (which has been translated by an accredited translator) & My daughters Indonesian passpor...
