Re: MN1 refused- child dependent visa expired- Help!!

How to apply
Complete application form SET(O) unless you’ve extended your permission using form FLR(M) - if you have you should apply using form SET(M).

Sorry, forgot to see the above.

Makes sense now.

Re: MN1 refused- child dependent visa expired- Help!!

I thought SET M is for all parter and dependants of person who has 'settled' in UK. ??

SET 0 seems to be directed towards main applicant -

Re: MN1 refused- child dependent visa expired- Help!!

Hi CR001

If i decide to apply in person using Form SET O, once i get the ILR, i should apply for ILR for my wife using the same form or SET M ?

Thank you,
Abbas.

Re: MN1 refused- child dependent visa expired- Help!!

Thanks.

The only thing now is they have created one form in which dependent details and main applicant details need to go.

Not sure why they have included so many dependents slots - Dont they know that children shouldnt apply for ILR (born in UK) and that they can register directly.

Re: MN1 refused- child dependent visa expired- Help!!

Thanks that clarifies.

Why would you suggest ILR application in person (for main applicant) when it doesnt matter if by the time the ILR gets finalised, the child's visa expires before the registration?

Re: MN1 refused- child dependent visa expired- Help!!

I have two children (one born in Dec 2010 in UK holding my dependent visa that expires at the same as mine, second born sometime ago, and doesnt have any passport or visa apparently). Re: ILR application - Postal vs Premium Same Day & Registrat

Thank you for the comments. My daughter was born in UK. So i can only apply for her Registration after I have got my own ILR. Does this mean, i should get my ILR done via Premium Service to make sure i register her as citizen before her visa expires? Or it doesnt matter if she is registered post exp...

ILR application - Postal vs Premium Same Day & Registration

Hi, Grateful if anyone can advise on my situation (as per below). Me and my wife and daughter are eligible to apply for ILR in February (28 days before expiry of our current residence permits). My daughter was born in 2010. Based on my research I understand that I can apply for my ILR, and once that...

Re: Visa4UK - Apply for Someone else

Thank you for the response.

The reason Im confused is. It often happens that the person filling out the form for someone else, is also a resident of the same country. Just thinking if its a problem if the main account has an address within UK, for an application which is being made outside UK.

Im applying for my mother and i intend to fill out the form on her behalf. Unsure of the following: - Should i create an account in her name (with her address & contact details), and select Apply for myself; - Should i create an account in her name (with her address & contact details), and s...
