How long does it normally take to get back your supporting documents for naturalisation applications, if you have applied directly to IND?

If you have ILR and you trave abroad, would the BHC in that country helpyou/treat you/acknowledge you in the same way as a BC, say for eg if there was a crisis in that country or an emergency etc? I just called the IND to confirm receipt of my application, which they did. The nice lady went through to explaing the process to me.. she said ''now that we have received your forms, it will take about 10-12 weeks to be passed onto a case worker...they may then contact you if they need any further ...

Thanks once again, no need to apologise, I was just curious to see what kind of scenarios would delay processing time.. thats all. Fingers crossed for speedy response....
