Re: Lead times between receiving Approval/Booking Ceremony

Well, the reason why i am asking is because this is my second letter of approval and its taking the same route as my first letter of approval. I posted the story before, in short, received a letter of approval in December, chased council for 1.5 months to book my ceremony but was told the certificat...

Lead times between receiving Approval/Booking Ceremony

Hi guys, A quick question for those that have received their Approval Letters. Once you have received it how long did it take you to book your ceremony with your local council? I received my second letter of Approval on Saturday, phoned the council today and they still have not received my certifica...

Re: Gaps between passports for Naturalisation

I had the same issue when i was applying. I had a year's gap between my two travel documents. Before the first travel document expired (December 2012) my family applied for ILR, the new travel documents that we were given had an issue date of December 2013. First time i went to NCS they refused to p...

Re: Applicants who received further 3 - 6 months letter

My case is somewhat similar I guess but not at the same time. I applied on the 6th of November, actually received a letter of approval on 19th of December however the council I applied through did not receive my certificate. I kept phoning to find out only to be told that the certificate has not arr...

Re: Naturalisation Certificate Lost/Undelivered

You guessed right. My council is Aberdeen :) Surprisingly, I just got another approval letter in the post today from HO. It's dated 1st of February, and it advises again I contact the Aberdeen council for the ceremony. I called the council an hour ago but was told the new certificates haven't arriv...

Re: Naturalisation Certificate Lost/Undelivered

Hi hi, Ah was your council by any chance anywhere in Scotland in the area of Aberdeen.... At least they told you that they have had delivery issues, what they told me via email correspondence: 1) General response advising me that my application needed further checks 2) I responded saying this doesn'...

Re: Applicants waiting for 6 months

I think i will be waiting for 6 months now. I thought my application was straightforward, 5 years residence + 2 ILR. I even received the letter of approval, but couldn't book my ceremony as the certificate has never been delivered to my local council. I emailed back and forth with HM and finally was...

Re: Naturalisation

Thanks again man.

Re: Naturalisation

No no I did not have any medical insurance or EHIC issued by my country of origin. I remember all of the addresses, I just think if I start putting them all down I might get something wrong since I would have to write down around 10 addresses, not to mention the year abroad that I had to take due to...

The problem/confusion that I have is that during the past 5 years I have been a stude...
