Re: Leave curtailment-Employer not aware-SMS not updated

Oh thanks Sushdmehta, So the answer to who made the original mistake is swinging like pendulum from A) Migrant applied from India rather UK B) Employer issued CoE CoS to non T2migrant/T4dependent c) Home Office advised incorrectly and now if I appeal in the court A) might be proved and hence cooling...

Re: Leave curtailed

Hi Kuldeep, Thats the issue with Home office /British high commission, where they dont tell exact remedial measures .In my case in the absence of HO letter , the BHC letter says the main migrant should have applied visa from UK as the person is having Unrestricted CoS and hence visa is rejected. Hi Ks227, "only to compete first for uni, then for degree, and then job and now visa :" with 30 ~K salary , I guess your next hurdle would be 35 k slab for ILR . Further if dependent work restriction comes into play in 2016 and if you plan to get married in the next 5 years then you would ...

Re: Proposed change in rule - Tier2 dependent work

As per the comments received from above posts , I infer the most likely scenario would be from a cutoff date ,Tier 2 dependents (general + ICT or ICT only) will not be able to work .Most impacted families would be as follows. 1) TIer 2 General migrants who entered UK after Jan 2014 and having only 3...

Hi PetalTop, Your last comments ideally should be in MAC work restriction threads for Tier 2 General dependent for best use for the impacted readers. However I disagree the view that this is something new when I found out the work restriction idea was mooted for dependents even in 2010 as per the be...

Re: Tier 2 General Dependent Visa holder- Employment status

Saumya,
THere is no rule or requirement for Tier 2 General dependent applicant to show resignation letter for his/her visa to be granted.
So let your husband apply ( check key documents required from this forum like marriage certificate+maintenance funds )and get his dependent visa .
