Hi all, I will be reaching the 6 months mark by the end of the month and I read something about escalating . I hope to get a decision (SET M) before that but looking at how slowly things are moving for SET M , what is the process for escalating after 6 month? Do I just call uk immigration or escala...
This is really worrying! How did people know that UKVI did not receive their biometrics from UKVCAS? I did ask UKVCAS on twitter that have they sent my biometrics to UKVI or not and they replied with yes. I would suggest to DM them with your UAN number and ask for the submission. I did that already...
It is quite concerning that some people on twitter reported UKVI have not receive their biometrics, a few escalated with UKVI and UKVI responded by saying they will make a decision once they receive biometrics from UKVCAS, who are saying they send information within 24hrs. This is really worrying! ...

Hi Everyone Update on April 4th SETLR application HO called me this morning on a private number asking if I am able to answer some questions... The lady on the phone said she had my application on the table and about to conclude. She asked if a travelled outside the UK between 2010 to 2015 and I an...
Congratulations to all people receiving approvals, my brain is now thinking something is wrong with my SET (M) application, hopefully before outright rejection UKVI will ask for additional documents if required
How many people are still waiting from March/April/May applicants? I'm a June applicant myself and this is getting ridiculous. Timeline thread and replies here seems to have trickled to naught as well. Is whole UKVI on holiday now? As someone else mentioned before, please provide your feedback to t...
4 weeks since IDV submission today and 2 weeks since in person appointment, I think people who got their decision quicker after in person surely had an interim decision made on their applications, others still waiting might not have had the applications looked at or still waiting on checks I guess
I am april 14th set m)applicant still waiting. I am June 12 Set (O) applicant with a dependent - and still waiting as well. I am March 27 Set (O) applicant and still waiting as well. I'm another June applicant here. Sent a few emails, but got no response. Also called UKVI but didn't get anywhere. I...
Feels like SET (M) isn't much of a priority for UKVI in terms of giving a decision quickly, hopefully things can change soon and decisions can be sent quicker for everyone
Hi everyone hope you are all well,i wanted to know anyone that has given biometrics around 8th Sept received a decision.I am still waiting for a decision for my husband he applied on june 15 set M.
I applied SET (M) 22nd June and done biometrics on 15th Sept, still waiting
Thank you for the response, I think you are right about waiting, mind does start to play tricks, I have submitted everything correctly and done a dual submission, which probably wasn’t a good thing to do, I was in Croydon today last week to do in person appointment. Just saw on twitter a person who ...
Just out of curiosity, if a document was missing or something wasn't right on application surely UKVI would ask for further supporting documents wouldn't they? I applied SET M 22nd June, IDV 28th August and in-Person 15th Sept in Croydon, haven't had a decision yet, thinking maybe something is wrong...
Looks like doing dual submission might not have done anything for me, applied SET(M) 22nd June, IDV submission 28th August, In person biometrics 15th September. Usually people are getting their decision quicker after that, I hope the girl that was being "trained" during my in-person appoin...
Just had an appointment in Croydon that I booked yesterday for £110, I applied SET (M) 22nd June and submitted biometrics through IDV App on 28th August, but not sure about the app being fully functional yet. Overall 10 mins at the appointment, the lady checked my documents, took photo, fingerprints...
I am really tempted to book an appointment as there is one available next week near me, I submitted application on the 22nd June Set(M) and did my IDV on 28th August, seeing all the results is making me think about it
I think the point of IDV app is to confirm the person's identity through a recent picture and a liveness check, Biometrics are basically used to identify human characteristics and both a recent picture and liveness check will confirm if you are the same person from the last time you had your biometr...
A user on twitter got a response from UKVCAS that after information is submitted via IDV app, everything else is dealt directly with UKVI and the bottleneck is UKVI.
Don't know if UKVCAS are just saying that or this is actually true.
