Re: Parent details - late Mother

Thank you again @alterhase58.

Does it matter which mother's details I use this time? as if remember I used my late mother's name in one of my previous applications. I mean will it give H.O image of conflicting information?

Re: Parent details - late Mother

Thank you @alterhase58.

So does it mean H.O will not check parent details back home? and it's only for the purpose to ensure parents are not British national?

Re: Questions around Eligibility to be a British Citizenship

if you wait and apply in December 2023 (so in 11 months) she will not meet this requirement because 3 years back in December 2020 she was not physically present in UK @Naly that's a very good point if we delay in applying upto Dec 2023 then the next time she'll be eligible is in Sept 2024 Thank you...

Re: Questions around Eligibility to be a British Citizenship

Thank you again @secret.simon. I don't think she need discretion to disregard in any other requirement as I think others are pretty much same as the requirements for ILR was. I only had doubt on the requirement around absence. I'll really appreciate your thoughts on these two: Do you have a previous...

Re: Questions around Eligibility to be a British Citizenship

Thank you for your response @secret.simon. She arrived in UK in 15 April,2016 and she only had the absences as in the screenshot, none other then these. As per my understanding on requirements on absence from UK: should not have spent more than 270 days outside the UK during the 3 years before your ...

Re: ILR HO does not consider NARIC as valid proof

From 1st March 2021, the UK NARIC function is known as UK ENIC. The Statement of Compatibility is NOT adequate to prove the English language. This is why they had the Red and Blue routes. Only old NARIC obtained under the Red route can be used for Visas and Nationality Services :!: If the degree is...

Re: ILR HO does not consider NARIC as valid proof

Finally received decision on my application and it's been successful :) For anybody who will read this in future: In the end we have to apply for new Ecctis certificate and provided that as proof of English. New Ecctis certificate was needed as HO requirements have slightly changed since we had the ...

If I remember correctly it was a requirement when she applied initially to either have IELTS or have a NARIC certificate.
It was not. There has never been an English requirement for PBS dependent visas.
ok thanks. Any suggestions on what options I have now?

Re: ILR HO does not consider NARIC as valid proof

A tier 2 dependent was never required to meet the English language requirement. Even if you submitted it for her dependent visa back then, it would have been ignored anyway. The first time a PBS dependent needs to meet the English requirement is for ilr. If I remember correctly it was a requirement...
